I'VE DONE IT! FUCK YOU GRANT! FUCK YOU KAIN! FUCK YOU WORLD!

In other news the online part of this game is arse at the moment. Ping seems to have no relation to the amount of lag you can expect (as mentioned by some earlier). You know its going to be a bad one when you get lag on the fucking character select screen.

Still an AMAZING game. Probably my favourite fighter I reckon.

Finally bought this, I was reluctant at 1st as I have the DC, PS2 and have owned the Neo Geo AES cart.

Its amazing how quickly you forget that this is up there with 3rd Strike, Turbo X and Hd remix as one of the finest fighters ever crafted.

me and Devil Goh had the most incredible matches, just defended counters galore, Super and p power combos defelected, there were moments of magic and the possibilities and excitement second to none.

Absolute class! And can't wait to re-learn it all over again

Im gonna put it out ther, Its a better fighter than SF4 and is up there with Super Turbo as one of the best ever created.

Lots to learn though, I am dead rusty at the moment and Its very relient on Ping over live but its in my top 3 fighters of all time.

I cant wait for some epics sessions Dave!

Mate you said what I was thinking.

I am more inspired, excited, and agree totally.

it is better than SFIV by a long way. Now the dust has settled, I dont think IV is as good as it first seemed.

I had a bit of a Zen moment with it, the balance is phenomenal, and like you said yesterday the hand drawn element excites me and makes me smile every time i see the waft of Air go through Butts Gi, and Rock Howard Flicks his hair.

its the little details and touches that make this so special.

The backdrops are absolutely gorgeous and they way they change every round is cool.

I love the waterfall at sunset, I love the Chopper that hovers over head in Kevins stage. Kicking up dust.

The doves milling around The Bell Tower are also really well drawn.

I think for real afficianados of these games you can't beat 2D hand drawn sprites and back drops. However good SF4 is, they should have kept it 2D.

I loved this back in the day, I'll dig out my Dreamcast for a game.

I've always preferred SNK to Capcom anyway.

Second generation Madcatz Tournament sticks are now up for order at a few places. Play Asia have them for about £90 but p+p will be a chunk. I really do prefer the all white non game specific design this time around. They have matching all white fightpads too. (Im puting this in all fighting game threads so no one misses it)

I've been alternating between this and KoF98 for the last month. Been holding off on Garou recently as 95% of the random schmucks online play an exceptionally dry K. Butt, with the remainder playing either Terry or that little ninja fucker.

I'm not on that much during the week but would definately be up for a few games at some point

What is "dry"?

I play Butt and would be up for some games if anyone fancies it. Whats the online like between friends?
