The Playstation Move

RE5 controls really well. I played it for half an hour yesterday and got really annoyed, but it doesn't help that the first real fight in it, where your control is tested, is that massive ruckus with people charging you from all angles. Now I'm halfway or so through 2-1 and finding it completely intuitive. I like that for the knife swipe you can either press a button or shake the wand.

I LOVE archery. Simple as is is (I am?), I like the 'grab-arrow' movement :)

Table Tennis started out nice, but my very first match I lost 0 - 11 <_<

Just bought Resi 5 Gold, I am hoping the Move patch is already out over here (Holland). That is my evening sorted

Aye, I really REALLY hope they come up with a Robin Hood game because I love the archery bit to bits.

Bizarrely Table Tennis is the sole reason I was looking at Move's today. Seems a bit odd saying that.

It might feel odd saying it but its soooo worth it, it is that good seriously. Mind I feel odd saying that as well since it's Table Tennis

What do you get on the demo disc? Is it different from what's available on the store?

Beat Sketchers, The Shoot, TV Champions, Eyepet, Echochrome, Start the party, Tumble, and Tiger Woods

Actually talking about Beat Sketchers, has anyone managed to get it to work? Mine is just sitting on the "Keep the wand 1.5 metres away from the Eye" screen

I found, the first time around with Tumble, that I had to properly calibrate the controller under the XMB first. Is that it?

same thing happened with me, i googled it and apperently if you set the move controller to 7 it should work, i'm gonna try it when i get home.

I'm gonna be resident evilin' it up for the first time tonight and this weekend so if anyones up for co-op, add me! (robo-o-g)

Bocce Ball (or bowls!) is fantastic too. I might be mis-remembering Will Sports Resort, but it just immediately feels so much more intuitive and like how you swing the controller is actually exactly how the ball is thrown.

It would appear you are mis-remembering Wii Sports Resort, as there's no kind of bowls game in it.

You are a star, worked brilliantly

Edit: This is fucking brilliant!

Even though I hardly switch my PS3 on (only for the exclusives), I'm much more inclined to get Move when there's a game that appeals to me more than the initial offerings. I've already got the camera.

Will I need two of the bally controllers and the navigator wand to get the full use out of it. I keep seeing loads of pics of Kevin Butler with two ball controllers firing a bow and arrow?

Added :) I never played Resi 5 so our team should provide is with some fun stories for the forum.

edit: if anyone is ever up for some (Move) gaming, feel free to add me: Kanselier. Please mention something like `rllmuk' or 'muk' as body text.

Right now, hardly any games use two Navigational controllers, the only I can name from the top of my head is Archery and that works well with one Navigational controller (you just lack the strain-the-bow movement). Perhaps R.U.S.E but I do not know for sure.

edit: ow, and that gladiator-esque game that is part of the sports package. Right hand is weapon, left hand is shield. If you use just one Navigational controller, the shield is mapped to a button.

I popped into Asda earlier and got myself another Move.

The girl said they only had it in blue. I told her that was okay, blue is my favourite colour anyway.

It was £28, which is as cheap as it gets anywhere isn't it? They also had the Starter Pack for £40.

I've given it a go on Sports Champions and reckon that Gladiator kind of comes alive with two instead of one, being able to independently control the shield and sword feels ace. Just been jumping around like a mentalist loving the hell out of it. Archery, I'm not so sure of. Is there a knack to holding the bow Move? Because I often end up obscuring my line of sight with my arm, hand or Move when I'm trying to aim.

It's a fantastic package Sports CHampions isn't it? The only event I'm not particularly enjoying is Vollyball. The gestures may work perfectly, but I'm not finding it much fun to play so far.

Ah, I never bothered with a Wii. I played a lot of it at work and over at friends and that experience never made me even consider a purchase. I think I played WSR, is that a bit like those 'fit' games from EA and Ubi?

No. WSR is the motion plus wii sports, archery, table tennis, basketball and a pilot wings type game being my favourites.
