Surely there's no catching him now. pompey88 storms to his third win of the season to open up a 12-point lead – effectively still with a game in hand. Next week is when the weak scores get start to get eliminated, which could have an impact to a certain extent, but seeing as though pompey has yet to finish outside the points in the six games he's played so far, I just can't see him being caught now. Not that I'll give up just yet!

21 players left here (18 is the bubble). I've got 23k, which puts me in third. I had a couple of setbacks (and one massive injection of luck), but I'm back in it! Unfortunately, I've got a very station-y big stack two seats to my left, who's kinda cramping my style.

Good game tonight all, I didn't get many hands early on and had to sit and bide my time. The hand where I knocked out two players with my pocket 4's won it for me tonight, not sure if I really deserved it though!

Back up to 20k after a scary "3-bet AJ and whiff on the flop" incident. Still 16 left.

EDIT: 25k! Aces on a horrible, horrible board - it flushed up on the turn and the high flop card paired on the river. Yuck. Had to pay off his tiny bet on the river, but thankfully he'd decided to turn his bottom pair into a bluff.

I played badly on the final table after a very solid start, so I'm disappointed. Still, I got my last bunch of chips in ahead so it could have been worse. You've absolutely stormed it though -- three wins and a second place from six games is mighty impressive.

Oh, and well done to CJ and Dazza for their non-league cashes!
