Aye, really enjoyed last night's game.

Was a little disappointed to go out on the bubble (again!) after going all in with AK against Q10, but happy to get a few more points onto the table.

I'm off on holiday for two weeks on Saturday, so will miss the last two games (that was game 8 yeah?) so good luck all - looking forward to having a look at the final league table when I get back.

Whoops, I've been away for a few days and forgot to update the table last week. Apologies for that, I'll sort it out when I get home tonight.

Good game, guys. Some tight as hell play from us all tonight, it was crazy! I was trying out a new "ultra-tight pre-flop in the early levels" thing I'm working on. I've always employed it in live tournaments until the antes come in, but they're generally much more deepstacked, so I wasn't sure it would work out. From my epic sample size of 1 game, it works!

Reasonably happy with how I played, though. Did manage to win a coinflip against Chaz, which kept me in the game, but I wasn't all in and called apart from that. Made two calls I'm pretty happy with against Poet and CJ though. I do hate having Poet to my left - good player, and MILITANT about his blinds being stolen. :D I did have Billy, ThreeBs and CJ lined up to my right, on the other hand, which was a pretty lucky draw.

Good game, lads!

Shit. I completely forgot to post the table, and now I've forgotten who came in what position last Wednesday! This is what I can remember:

1. Dazza

2. Commander Jameson

3. Poet.

4. Stifler

Is that right? Do you have the results from last week, Billy?

If it is, this is what the top three looks like now:

1. pompey88 - 53 points

2. Commander Jameson - 40 points

3. Dazza - 38 points

If Billy could post up the full results from last week (if he has them), I can finish the table.

Out of interest, pompey88 needs to finish 5th or higher tonight to break ThreeBs' record of 56pts from a 10 game season. Second place is also well up for grabs, so we should still have an interesting game on our hands. Here's hoping we'll get more than the two players that are currently signed up!

Thanks to everyone for making it a great season. Despite the low turnout for the final game, we generally had at least a full table most weeks, and the standard of play was nice and high. We should be kicking off the mixed game league next Wednesday, so please do pop along and try out some new styles of poker. I'll send out some PMs as and when. Season 5 of the Hold 'Em league will follow soon after. Any thoughts on how to improve the league welcome (would it be better handing out points relative to how many turn up for each game rather than the top 8 automatically getting points, for example?), as would any thoughts about us all pitching in a little extra at the start of the season and getting some small prizes for the top finishers -- or even just using it as an extra prize fund at the end of the season. Let me know what you think.
