Okay, so as we haven't yet made a firm decision between us on how to structure the league, I suggest we go with the format we used last time. 10 weekly tournaments with the following points handed out:

1st 10pts

2nd 8pts

3rd 6pts

4th 5pts

5th 4pts

6th 3pts

7th 2pts

8th 1pt

Only your best seven results count toward your league placeing at the end of the season, so that those who can't make it every single week aren't punished.

Any thoughts/improvements needed?

Top 3. Unless we get over two tables of players, I think.

By the way, are we going to run any overall competition? As in, everyone chucks in a fiver or something, and the pot is split between the top 3 players at the end of the season?

What we did last time was have it mainly for bragging rights, but we also sent a small prize to the winner at the end of it. Nothing amazing, just a little token to remember the achievement. Happy to chuck some cash in if everyone's up for it, though.

ThreeBs should also be joining us tonight, making it two former rllmuk champs in now (Commander Jameson being the other).

After another excellent heads-up match against Billy, I won!

Got pretty lucky to catch some decent flops at the right times all night, but I always got my money in ahead, which I'm happy with! Well, apart from being on the arse end of a coinflip against Mike, but I lost that anyway!

Played really passively for most of the night. Disappointingly so. But at least it allowed me to pull off some audacious bluffs, which I shan't reveal just yet!

Another excellent game, guys. :(

Thanks to everyone who turned up, that was a cracking game. Dazza took home the first maximum point haul of the season, taking me down after a lengthy heads-up battle. Good standard of play by all. Here's hoping we get even more for next week. Full placings:

1st Dazza (10pts)

The only question now is if people want to pitch in a small amount of cash to be split amongst the top three at the end of the season? If not, I'll be happy to sort out a token prize for the winner out of my own pocket. Either way, I'd like to get that decision finalised in time for next week.

I'm still steaming a little bit, my luck didn't change on the cash tables either. being a 3-1 favourite is about a coinflip at the moment, it seems. good game and good banter guys, looking forward to next week! I'd be happy to stick in a fiver or something towards a prize. can just transfer the money over stars i guess.

Tell me about it. I went straight to the cash tables and immediately donked off a couple of buyins with premium hands, being a massive favourite right up until the turn or river each time because there are people out there who seem to unable to lay down a draw, whatever price you make it.

Anyway good tournament, more happy with my result this time than in the practice. Wasn't really getting a lot to work with but what can you do, i've been more or less card dead, or at least failing miserably to even get a sniff at a connection on the flop, over the past week or so. But that's poker. Looking forward to next week.

Haven't been on for a couple of days so missed the pm's, etc. Hope you guys had a good game, and even though wednesdays are a bit of a pig for me , i'll try to see what i can do, to get to a couple of these.
