Fixtures are posted up in the format 'Host' v 'Challenger'.

Host (home fixture) plays on 1P side, Challenger (away fixture) plays on 2P side.

Each round is 99 seconds, best of three rounds.

You must play three matches against each opponent. Even if you lose the first two matches, you must play the third and confirm the outcome of all three matches.

Please post your results in the following format:

Host Username - Gamertag Matches Won v Matches Won Challenger Username - Gamertag

E.G.

Asura - Kutai 1 v 2 Sithlordx - cosmickillerdyl

Both players must confirm each result.

Hurrah! I can't wait for this. A massive thankyou to stefcha for organising this, and also Dante Sigona for keeping track of this division. If there is any week you can't do it let me know and I'll fill in for you.

Carlito, can you play tonight?

For this week only I wont be able to do any matches at the weekend, but any weekday evening (from about 17:00) is fine.

Would you mind playing tomorrow instead? I have only just picked up Bison and desperately need practice so if I can get online tonight at all I'd quite like to get a bit of practice in if I can.

I will on from 1830h onwards on thurs, possibly friday too and a lot of the weekend.

Oh yeah and thanks Stefcha and Dante Sigona!

Yeah I haven't had a proper session since Tuesday last week.

If I am on SFIV tonight it probably won't be at any reasonable time, but I can do tomorrow afternoon/evening/night fine. Friday and Saturday are out, probably Sunday too, but Monday/Tuesday evening next week I can play no problem.

What say you, Cale and Sithlord?

Verrrrrrrrrry close run match, up until the last round where Asura romped home. He only really gave me one opportunity to get a string of hard-hitting stuff in, the rest was combos and combo defence.

The first match ended on a double KO as we traded with half a CM left on our bars. Unfortunately for me, Asura was already a round up, so he took that match with the DKO.

Yes, it was close run. Highlight for me was getting in a full Gekiro when it really mattered, and figuring out mid-round how to deal with Balrog's dashing punch :)

GFP played really well though; he deserved the second match (I fell to pieces at one point). Gen's like that - sometimes you get so caught up in just how much you can do, you just get lost - it's like being an octopus and being asked to work a crane with each arm. Sometimes you just get totally mixed up and have to get some distance to straighten yourself out.

Sorry to be so specific. Have to minimise the SFIV when the good lady cale is around! Not about reliably this weekend either, I'm afraid...

I won the first 2, then in the last set Carlito was all over me, I just couldn't stop him! Good games. Looking forward to the rematch, although I think he'll win that one as he's clearly worked out how to stop me :)

It was carlito's aerial game that did me in here! I knew I'd have to deal with it and had gotten quite okay at my anti-air with Balrog, but I just didn't produce in practice here. The last moments were pretty tense, but it was a purple fist that just caught me that finished me off.

Wow, I have a whole new respect for Dan! Both rounds of the decider went down to the last couple of hits, and I think Cale played the matchup much smarter than me, but Rufus' damage output (and EX Messiah kick, the best move in the game) got me through. Good games!

And that's a third of this week's games played already. Good going guys, keep it up!

Yup, Dante's result confirmed. Good games as always, chap. I really like Dan. He's overlooked as a character but can be really useful. I had a message saying that the person playing me was amazed I won 'cause 'using Dan is like having one hand tied behind your back'!

He's just misunderstood. And funny. And taunty.

I pretty much spent the whole match trying to avoid your ultra setups. Nearly got away with it too!

Carlito: sorry man, had to chip after the matches with Dante. We'll do it soon. :)
