A cool little touch I noticed last night...

The patch on Doctore's chest plate...I never really noticed it when first watching B&S but after the episode of GoTA where he kills the old Doctore, I decided to go back and check and there it was. Even in the same place and everything. Obviously, it was easy to build a story around it, but I thought it was a fantastic little touch.

One thing I didn't understand (I may have missed it) - why does Crixus have such beef with Gannicus. Is that ever explained? The whole series he had a hard-on for fighting Gannicus and I never really understood why.

I always thought it was because Gannicus let him win the fight to be champion of the ludus in episode 3 or 4, ever since then he wanted a proper fight with him..

So, I've got this on Blu-ray, and I've just watched episode 5. The picture quality is ace, lots of detail showing up in the outfits, and the close ups of faces. Quite a few of the episodes are labelled as "extended" or "enhanced", although I'm not sure I can see where they've extended them, as yet.
