Certainly.  It’s all a bit “ish”, but you’ll get the idea. 

 

Line a loaf tin, about *mimes loaf with hands* this size. 

 

For the cake. 

 

225g unsalted butter 

225g caster sugar

225g self raising flour 

4 eggs 

Zest of one lemon

Small pinch of salt

 

For the gooey lemonyness in the cake

 

Juice of 2 lemons

110g (ish) of caster sugar. 

 

For the optional drizzle icing. 

 

Zest and juice of one lemon and enough icing sugar to make a glaze (about 100g iirc)

 

Beat the butter and flour together until it’s fluffly. Add the eggs 1 at a time. Sift in the flour. When combined, mix in the salt and zest. 

 

Pop it in the tin and put it in the oven 180C ish For 45 minutes ish. Check the middle with a knife, when it’s clean it’s done. 

 

Mix the lemon juice and caster sugar together (make sure the sugar has dissolved). 

PRICK! the cake with a fork all over and drizzle over the cake. Leave it in the tin until nearly cooled. 

 

When cool enough, take it out the tin and pop it on a plate. Mix the zest, and juice of one lemon with enough icing sugar to make a glaze and plop it on the middle of the cake, it’ll run all over it and look a bit like a bukkake vid.

 

Then simply pop the kettle on and eat it all in one sitting.

Worked out very nicely, thank you. I didn't have a loaf tin big enough so made two layers with lemon buttercream icing. It might even last us until tomorrow...

Here is some ramen what I done made with my own broth (roasted cow bones). Pork belly, kale, NY strip, and a soft egg. I forgot to put the kimchi in before I took the picture.

Made a Spanish style fish stew. Prawn, squid, hake, chorizo and chickpeas. It was delicious.

Made a big ole taco spread with homemade salsas, spicy mayo, avocados, cojita cheese, watermelon salad, and some other stuff I can’t remember. Cooked the pork shoulder and octopus over a wood fire I threw together with some random cinder blocks and the grill from the oven.

 

Oh yeah elote and asparagus
