Yeah, next DLC is tomorrow.

Interested to see what set-ups and moves Rebecca and Josh have for Mercs. Gonna have to be special to beat Barry!

Ah oh well I won't be playing till friday now anyway. Least Ill be able to play some co op with a mate.

Desperate Escape is certainly intense. It's a lot more like the main game than Lost In Nightmares, but the set-pieces are ferocious and pretty damn tough. Took around an hour and twenty minutes for me and a fellow journo to complete in online co-op, but there were more than a couple of deaths in that time.

On Normal it's too brutal for me to complete in singleplayer. Unless I think up a better strategy for it. The game just keeps throwing normal and bigger enemies at you, while those annoying rocket launchers keep homing in on you no matter where you are. Fuck it's hard! And my AI partner ran out of ammo :lol:

Did you find the

sniper rifle?

That appeared to be pretty much vital in our game.

I also found some

shotgun shells

but no

shotgun

. Curious...

. Also found a

Magnum

and an

extra handgun

.

Have started a new game, this time on Casual. Much more suited to me as I'm doing it alone. But will play it later with my coop buddy on Normal. We completed Lost in Nightmares on Normal earlier and had a great time with it.

Finished Desperate Escape with a mate there on Veteran and fucking hell was that tough. The last setpiece especially was an absolute bastard and I don't know how many times we attempted it until we got it. This was just with pistols and machine guns too as we never found any other weapons during our playthrough. I really don't fancy trying this on professional.

I feel your pain! That finale on Veteran is a fucking nightmare!

It's way worse than i remember Professional on the main game. Basically any hit and you're fucked!

It's very decent though! Well worth ya 400 points.

Are there supposed to be other weapons in Desparate Escape? I never found anything other than the ones you start with but picked up Shotgun/Rifle ammo a lot.

It was bastarding hard on single player. Much harder than all of RE4/5 on professional.

I tried this on Professional with the AI partner, and its near on impossible. I finally made it to the end part, but AI Josh was so stupid I gave up (after about 20 tries)

I gave him grenades and he never used them! He kept moaning about ammo when he was standing right next to some! Argh!

The closest I could get the time down to was about 2:00, and that was just by running away from everything, but eventually getting shot at by those ganado's with guns.

This is exactly what they did for Street Fighter 4, after anouncing the cosume packs there was no mention of a bundle if you waited. Now as I brought one costume pack it's not worth me buying the bundle. :lol:

Didn't catch me out with RE5 this time and they wont catch me out with SSIV either. :lol:
