Yay: FIFA doesn't work :blink:

Tried joining all the games I was invited to, and I was just greeted with an empty lobby and a message saying 'It appears someone else is disconnecting; please wait and try again'. You OK this, and then the message comes back after 20 seconds or so. Meerman, Hannay and myself were all having this problem, not sure about anyone else as the rest of you had left the party.

See you next week then, I guess!

Managed to keep Italy's left wing fairly at bay. Awful rating system for defenders though, got a 7 and a 4 or something :/

Same again next week!

I got a 2.9 in the second game <_<

Well played though lads.We did well to restrict their chances and some great finishes at the other end.

The upside is that playing in defence usually means you will cost less, the rating has no bearing on skill for defenders at all.

All a striker needs to do is put it in the net and gets man of the match, awful system.

You need to do alot of work of the ball aswell and pass right to get motm generally upfront. look at Joe who got the winner http://www.rllmukfootballleague.co.uk/BAP/...tail.asp?fid=42 and a 7.6 rating means he gave the ball away loads probs and was out of position. Gambit also scored 4 and didnt get MOTM lol

upfront your bar doesnt instantly fill after scoring you usually need 2 or 3 goals to get in to 10 or some assists to go with it. so its not always easy.

Good games last night chaps. Passing was a lot better. I do have one thing to say tho, sometimes we need to pick better passes, passing it forward sometimes isn't enough. There was a few times when a diagonal ball, or a pass played to the wings would have a been a better option. It's so important to retain possession that we need to choose players that are open to receive the ball. Hard to do when we are trying to play the quick passes I know, but it's something to work on.

All in all tho, good works.

Exactly. I'm not saying you shouldn't get MotM if you get the winning goal in a 1-0, but it should be more balanced.

Clearing the ball out as a defender is good play, but you get punished when the ball lands at your opponents feet. Among others.

we need to pick better passes, passing it forward sometimes isn't enough. There was a few times when a diagonal ball, or a pass played to the wings would have a been a better option. It's so important to retain possession that we choose players that are open to receive the ball. Hard to do when we are trying to play the quick passes I know, but it's something to work on.

Yeah I put a cross in and gave a pass up the line from an advanced position as a right back, we got a goal from one and a shot from the other. But there was tonnes more opportunities that could have been exploited, too much play through the centre - forcing it to goal. Similar to last week - Left and Right mid were none existant :facepalm:

RM was controlled by an any again, same as last week, so was quite deep alot of the time, and Chris played very well at LM, cutting inside and picking out some lovely passes, so he was involved...
