Cheers for the games, lads. I've made some observations, but I'll keep most of them to myself for now. I will say this however. Nath, we'll need you to play deeper in proper games . When we have a full midfield you'll get it down I reckon, if not you can run up and down a wing and Hannay can come into the middle :eyebrows:.

Good to get some game time with the new boys. Hannay did really well on the left wing. Rogue made some beautiful tackles and Meerman managed to stay in our half for nearly a full match. Lovely :). We'll get you used to Tele cam for Fifa 10, Richie. It helps the rest of the back four so you're making the sacrifice :).

Hell no. I will stick to the Pro camera. Why, you ask? Because you can see your character, the ball and the line of defenders at all times. I hate using Tele in BAP games because you can either only fix the view to your player or the ball, not both. Now if it would zoom out and in again to keep track of both, I wouldn't be complaining. But it isn't like that.

And you've seen me up front as well last night, doing extremely well (I thought), so the camera isn't an issue for me at all.

Mind you, at Rovers I played a slightly forward RB as Alves or Juan, acting in the midfield as well, assisting and building up attacks. Hence I went in front of the defensive line a bit, as most fullbacks do IRL. Normally works a charm, but need to do that with care, and the RCB has to be ready to back me up if things go wrong. If the general defending consensus is "defensive in one line at all times", then that's fair enough and I'll stick to that, but a little freedom wouldn't go amiss every once in a while. Felt a bit theoretically last night.

Aye, we'll get used to each other. Generally we have the defence in a rough line in our own half, with a defensive midfielder covering us. I can allow freedom to the fullbacks every now and then, but we have enough good players attacking to score goals and as such the focus is on not conceding any.

I've not played with a full defence for pretty much a full season, so I'm getting used to it again myself. I'm just wary of us being caught out at the minute, so give me some time until I start to trust everybody . Regarding the camera, all I need you to be able to do is stay part of a solid line when we're defending, and quickly spot and play a simple ball out of defence. If you can do that with the Pro cam then so be it :eyebrows:.

Edit - To Richie obv :).

I've learned to do just that, using the Pro cam. It's incredibly versatile and I'm actually very surprised no-one else is using it! Being different as a foreigner, right? :eyebrows:

It even works up-front! I have no radar on either because I always see the ball, and thus where it's going to go.

I thought our solid defensive line worked very well last night. Just need to know beforehand which strategy we're going to use in our next match, is all. I will do as you please, always. Apart from the camera. :)

yeah as long as you can ship the ball from RB either in the middle or to the Winger, there shouldnt be a problem then they can whip the ball in, thats what craig is looking for, nice simple passing (which i myself am also taking on board) although i do like taking the risk to put a striker through which i did last night, perhaps a little too much!

but Joe seemed to get on the end of them so im happy with that :D
