I'm currently using a stool. It's too high and my legs are cramped right up to squeeze inside!

The main issue I'm having is braking, I need to get used to the pedal as I keep locking up. Still, practice!

While I'm getting used to the wheel I'm quite heavy footed and keep sitting on the brake sometimes so I think I'll need a bit of deadzone at the start to prevent this, would 10% be enough?

Instead, in your car's tuning setup, lower the brake pressure to 90% or 80%.

Buying my tablemate today ready for when i FINALLY get my 360 back.

Had another bash with the wheel last night and things went a lot better than before, although I'm still on auto gearing while I get used to the thing! Must keep practicing, been using my class C, 425 PI rated Focus RS and it's seeming to be a good balance between being too fast and too slow for getting used to the wheel.

The wife had a try with a California round Sedona short, that was not pretty!

I will try these various settings out, but I was wondering about the seemingly unanimous support for 100% force feedback strength - the threads on the official Forza 3 forums that I've read seem to favour 65-70%. Any thoughts on this?

The stronger feedback, the better. I can't believe people lowering the strength as it is quite subtle to begin with.
