Has anyone seen that new sitcom Adam is in? Called 'The Persuasionists'. First episode is up on Iplayer at the moment, will probably check it out tonight. Early word is that it's terrible.

It was so, so bad. Great cast let down by shitty BBC sitcom writers

I will always have a special place in my heart for the slide whistle solo...

I've just listened to the show where Joe gets around a review embargo on The Chronicles of Narnia by answering Adam's questions about it with a slide whistle and I'm still in quite considerable pain from laughing :)

i miss them so much :coffee:

Sorry if this is old news, but Collings and Herrin have tweeted that they will be filling in for the next five weeks.

Cool excellent news, they are just about the only 2 people who are good enough to fill in for them IMO.

Richard Herring is just about my favorite person in the world. <_<:)

When Collings and Herrin filled in for some other presenters one week, it was quite amusing - mainly to hear Herrin struggle to keep things clean. If they carried on like their normal podcast on the BBC it would evoke a 'Brandgate' scandal from the Mail that would make that incident look like a complaint on points of view.

Well, the first couple of Collins and Herring 6 music podcasts have turned out pretty well I reckon. All the smut and cynicism of their normal podcast has been replaced with warmth and joviality. Loving the cheek of 'Text the Station' and 'Diary Wars'.

Amusing to hear Herring start going down a certain dark humour path, only to have hit the breaks at the last second. They definitely deserve a proper shot at their own radio show.
