I've fallen out of love with games for the majority of the last few years and could never figure out why. But, it's dawned on me that despite having a decent disposable income I got hit by a guilt trip everytime it got to Autumn and I was spunking £80 all too often on games I would half play. So, game collection amassed in the 2nd half of 2009 was sold off and I trawled the shops the other night looking for a game to kickstart my frugal purchase plan.

- Bought Guitar Hero World Tour £8

- Sold Red Faction: Guerilla to a friend of friend for £10.

+£2

This is weird. Maybe I should aim to come out of this year with more money made from games than spent on them. Might be tough.

January

Darksiders - £39.99

Gears Of War - £9.99

Gears Of War 2 - £19.99

Saint's Row 2 - £8

Crackdown - £14.99

Crackdown DLC - £3.40

Traded in Dragons Age and Fifa 10 for £32

Net Outgoing - £64.36

The only game I've actually managed to play is Crackdown which I completed today and would say that the price I paid for it was probably fair. Not really interested in paying full price for the sequel unless the missions are a lot better. I wouldn't have bought all the other games if Splinter Cell hadn't been delayed but they should keep me going for a good while. Next full price release I'm interested in is probably Heavy Rain at the end of Feb; it'll either be surprisingly good or provide the lols. Can't see it being boring anyway.
