People who still don't believe there isn't an underlying something that determines which team will get the bounces or the luck needs to open their eyes! That last game was ridiculous.

I think we feel the same about the first game mate :)

Thanks for the games tonight, First one felt like we got nothing (I think at least 4 of your goals game from crosses and I was out jumped twice by a midget!) second game it felt like the complete opposite, it should have been close but we seemed to get everything, just random.

I wasn't saying we deserved points from it just that we were getting beat by balls going astray when they shouldn't.. then again, that's FIFA10 for ya'.

I know you keep going on about luck etc, and i'm not saying it's not, but our passing was fucking awful in the second game - a big laggy too which resulted in players running into opponents before the pass etc. Maybe luck, but we were far better in the first game.

Only gripe was the fella who started ball juggling with the Goalie near the end of the game - complete twat of a thing to do.

Outsider - please tell me your recorded those games last night, will be really interesting to see if we just played badly in the first game and you guys didn't do so well in the second or if there was some fifa hoodoo going on.

I remember my guy bending over and wheezing like he was knackered after about 20 minutes in the first game but it felt like a completely different player in the second...

honestly, both games werent both decided by luck, both teams did have flashes of brilliance each game, i.e our crossing in the first and your freekick in the second etc. It wasnt all luck and it takes away a decent result from each team and make it sound like neither of us deserved a win.

Bottom line, both teams had one terrible game each...

Edit: For what it's worth I think we over play the luck thing. In the first game you outplayed us plain and simple. In the second game it was extremely even up until the 67th minute when we went 2-1 up, and that's when the game seemed to change a bit. I think it's more the momentum thing than luck, our guys looked crocked after you went 2-0 up early in the first game.

I think there was a lot of FIFA hoodoo going on - but I also think the two scores were fair - some of the play we created in the first was brilliant - crossing was spot on etc. Second we couldn't make a simple pass and we were getting very frustrated which never helps.

Also I agree with Peter, 2nd game I was finding myself trying to cover at left back a bit and my rating went to shit because of it - constantly out of position, then when attacking wasn't keeping up - Im assuming it was an "any" player which is never great :(

Fair do;s to Town who were far better, especially up the top end, in the second game.

i got caught off twice over both games (both of them in the second), i felt a bit useless in the second as i didnt see much of the ball, and when it was passed i was offside or lost it straight away.

still we're still in the title race so no harm done yet...

I think the season will be decided when we play Utd tbh

I was baninging a few from Left wing, and yes Outsider made some too - also remember Sean hitting one belter in.

Nath deffo was offsie once or twice........... :(

sean did the magnificant cross that led to our 3rd goal, he took it past 2 people and whipped an absolute pearler onto Outsiders noggin

but Hannay got a couple of vital ones in as well...

yeah as i said i was offside twice over the two games with both coming the second :(

As I said it will be interesting to watch the games again as it felt like we did an OK job of marking you guys in the first but, despite our defenders being taller, you seemed to win the headers virtually every time, and I think that is how you scored nearly all your goals.

That is not to take anything away from you guys or make an excuse for us but it definitely felt like we in the right place to stop at least two goals but our guys just couldn't win it.

it is quite ironic really as we have the worst headers of the ball in BAP, all our players are small and i think the best heading attribute is something like 78-79, i know that Eduardo's is rediculously low and he gets battered away everytime he goes for a header

I know I picked up an injury in the first game but even before that he was slow and lumbering and seemingly lacking any energy. I remember PES having its arrows system which is fine but, if there is indeed such a thing in FIFA, then it would be good if it was at least indicated.

as everyone has said, both teams had some luck, but both the games werent decided on luck. In the first our passing and build up play was brilliant and we had some luck with the headers, which is about time because our team are tiny compared to the others and are generally awful in the air...

after you went 3-1 ahead in the second it seemed as if everything went your way and you seemed to be able to breeze past our defence...

but your build up play in the second was pretty good and you deserved some of the goals you scored and our passing tbh was shit in the second...

and sean i think we need to switch the freekick taker as chris has managed to help the other team score two weeks in a row now :(

and after scoring 2 as well :(

Well nath was offside at least twice in the second game because I had a mate counting at the time lol anyway on next week hopefully sith n boobni are back so we can have a full 10.

yeah just twice, i wasnt off once in the first game, i make the runs but the passes come late, if i get the passes early like you were providing in the first game then i would have been ok :blink:
