Inside Xbox shows

Aye I like 'em. At first they looked awkward but now they seem a lot more comfortable with it all and it comes across.

Most of the "news" they feature is a week or so old, but some of it is genuinely useful. Also the jokes they pull that seems to have got the ape up people - they're relatively harmless aren't they? They often raise a smile from me anyway. :coffee:

I also like perving on Jessica Chobot on those IGN strategy things

I do this also. She's hardly on screen during them any more but her dorky delivery still has a certain charm. They used to have tips and strategy but they tend to be more like short adverts for the game now.

Here is Chobot being GTAIV promotional art lady:

There are also bikini and other more risque pictures available but you can do that kind of perving for yourself.

Her name is actually Jessica Horn. :coffee:

I approve of them. The haircuts and some of their jokes are a bit much at times though.

We get these UK guys over here in the Netherlands as well, I guess because there's no Dutch equivalent and the only other option would be the German version...

I watch them occasionally, although I doubt I'm in the target audience. There was a history of Street Fighter one that was quite good I thought, and the one where they 'translated' Blood on the Sand was pretty funny.

All these replies and no mention of the amazing "BOOOOTH" guy yet?

BOOTH!

I've still got it in my sig as it made me totally wet myself first time I watched it, haven't seen it since and I'm pissing myself all over again.

The first BOOTH! is such a brilliant surprise, it's fucking genius. I'd watch all of them if they just had him touring various BOOTHS.

+1 for liking the shows, i think the presenters are pretty funny (which may be a bad reflection on me i guess but meh), like others have said they both seem to like their games which comes across well. Oh and Chobot is always worth a watch.

Her name is actually Jessica Horn. :)

you are barred. her maiden name is horne (silent 'e'), but she was married (hence 'chobot') and kept her married name after making in it LA with red baboon / IGN before she became separated/divorced. I know these things because I was the one who got her into E3, and got her some of the contacts which got her the job in the gaming biz. :D

some of the photos floating around were mine (not the bikini ones), which I never got credit or paid for :) (ah well)

The Capcom specials were quite good but there's nothing in them that you can't get via Eurogamer. I watch them every week but only because I pay for them. The only element I dislike are the user questions like "When is Space Marines V released?" - very pointless with Google available to anyone who's on Xbox Live. It's OK for what it is.

Mr ratkos: are you her biographer or something?

Would like to see some different video content up there that's a little unexpected, rather than promotion justified with personality. In fact Major Nelson's stuff doesn't even have that.

Given the access they get to certain studios, it's a shame they don't seem to have the mandate to do something more in depth, stuff than might resonate.

Also, gets me no end that the videos run inside a window. I know it's to save bandwidth but maybe if they made something truly outstanding, they'd present it properly.

Noooooooooooo! I really love inside xbox. Oh ffs. First they fill it with adverts then they actually stop making the shows.

No offense to IGN or Gamespot but i thought the inside xbox stuff was miles better. Really going to miss that. Also genuinely narcced that I've just renewed my subscription to gold. I know it's available to silver members, I just feel really aggrieved.
