I'm not badmouthing anyone I simply informing people of the level of service I received from a particular store, it may be of interest to some and if it isn't simply don't go into the thread.

Thread subtitle: "Don't order they are sending them out unsealed"

You're telling people not to shop somewhere, simply because they didn't meet your arbitrary standards. That's badmouthing them. When I first saw the thread, I assumed shopto had done something really bad; thankfully I took the time to check the content of the thread, and found that you had merely set out to sail in a particularly stormy teacup.

How's the bailing out going?

1) This answer has already been answered by somebody post in this thread, please try and read through the thread carefully. If you brought a mobile you would'nt mind if the seal was broken even though it generally says on the seal do not accept if the seal is broken. It's stupid to argue over this just try and be tolerant of other peoples opinion. I am quite happy that you are willing to accept unsealed game "Good for you".

2) There are sites that do I think one of them is the thegamecollection, and Amazon resellers otherwise if it's always been my experience that the software has been sealed.

3) The product is not as described and wouldn't be considered so under the current law of contract in the UK.

4) I have been to HMV this morning and brought a sealed copy, so no they are not all unsealed.

Whose trolling know! Ironic isn't it!

I would prefer if an online store is selling you a game and it is unsealed should they

A) State it in the product description

B) Say nothing at all

I think those polls would look different if there was a stipulation for the game to be 'new' even if it's 'unsealed'.

I'm not sure what people worry about when the cellophane is missing - germ infestation? fingerprints?? Tiny serial killers lurking in the box??? :P

I suppose it's the principle that if something is new it should be new and if it's used it should state it and be cheaper for it.

If you buy a flat screen TV and it's been used I don't think you would be happy even if it didn't have finger prints on it. I don't think I am being unreasonable here.

imagine getting Dante's Inferno the same week God of War 3 comes out, that'd be like expecting a tasty steak dinner and getting AIDS instead.

His birthday is today hence me going to the trouble of travelling down to HMV and getting it for him. Furthermore his girlfriend is going to buy him God of War 3 so he won't lose out tomorrow. Nevertheless, he did mention it as a possible gift so I hope he won't be too upset now that I have brought it for him.
