The D-pad is exceptionally clicky.

It's not totally silent, it emits a low hum. Really only noticeable if you have your ear right next to it.

It makes a nice little chiming sound when you turn it on or open the disc drawer.

It is covered in fingerprints already.

I'm joking about the fingerprints. Yeah they show up like crazy but so what - that's why we invented dusters. I've never found any kind of consistency across 360 D-pads. Almost every one I've ever used has had a problem with one direction being less responsive than the others. This one seems as good as any other I guess.

There's a sticker under the disc drawer that says "Do not move console with disc in tray*" and in fine print it says "You fucking morons"

Fair does, I dont really rub my 360 after eating chicken wings so im sure it'll survive. The dpad allegedly got upgraded last year, with some different switching underneath...im sure its still shite.

More importantly....did it have that retarded transparent sticker covering the drive tray, so when you go to eject for the 1st time you almost fuck the motors.

Er any 250 hard drive be it in your PC, 360 or anything would only give you around 234 actual usuable gigs.

They've not been shipping elites with HDMI cables for a while as well. I guess they thought sony's original approach was smart- why pay for and include a cable that not all of the audience can use when they can just package in a lovely composite cable that works on everything :lol: .

Also, on the box they advertise a black chat pad and a black wireless headset.

Just buy any old HDMI cable- you can find a decent one for a fiver or so delivered at 2m or so and you don't need the audio dongle because you have the S model.

I've got HDMI's coming out of the wazzoo, I was just mentioning it was cheaper than play :lol:

some fucktard decided to argue with me the other day because we didn't have any Sony branded ones for £20 because they were obviously better because they were Sony branded. It's bad form to argue with "customers" so I let it go and just pissed and moaned about it on Twitter :lol:
