But don't forget that we're getting Super Circuit this month, which has all the SNES tracks in it.

When i played Super Mario Kart advance and started unlocking the snes tracks, i was in bliss! Actually the whole GBA game is pretty great, although the controls are a bit sketchy from memory. Im sure ill get used to it again!

the snes tracks are pretty badly butchered in the gba game, karts the wrong size compared to the track, wrong speeds, various bits and bobs missing :(

I remember bits being a bit different but didn't think it was that bad . I might still have the Gba version I'll have to refresh my memory . The only major thing was having five tracks per cup instead of four ( or the other way around I can't remember ) so it wasn't the same order really as the snes game.

Fuck I love mario kart through and through. One game online and instantly know this is going to get played a hell of a lot.

Sure did, you may have even knocked the pinball out of my way!

I'm surprised how good this is although I've only played 2 grand prix and the online against you. Smooth graphics, lovely 3D and great new tracks. Excellent.

Mario Kart is in many ways the ultimate game. Everyone likes it. It has a hardcore following and massive casual appeal. It has just the right balance between luck and skill. It is totally competive whatever your skill level, and it's distilled game in it's purest form.

I've already put ten hours + into it and I only got it Fri.

Nice win on Alpine Pass. Managed to hit a boulder on the final climb, then I met your 3 green shells as I recovered. Rage.

You are a master at that mario course I had no chance. I still think you rage quit but I`ll take your word for it :) . Is your kart specced out for speed cos I was in 2nd gear the whole time!

Boyatsea prefers the sonic kart game on the iPhone...

All joking aside Sonic and SEGA Allstars racing is a great mascot racing game and looks lovely on the HD consoles. You shouldn't just right it off because it's not Mario Kart.

Speaking of which, I really wasn't feeling the love for this at all until I got to the Star Cup and now I think it might be the second best Mario Kart. If only they'd get rid of that terrible weapon we could see a challenge to the original.

How do you get three stars on a cup? I thought it was to do with coins but I completed the Star Cup with three stars and I definitely didn't finish with 40 coins.

I also apologise for the banana i placed right after the first glider section on maple treeway!

Maple Treeway is possibly my least favourite track, next to Coconut Mall, Daisy Cruise and all the other shite Wii & GC tracks that make me want to tear my own face off with frustration. This game makes me feel like a kid again, and I hated being a kid.

Love the SNES tracks though.

You won by miles! I`m guessing that squid was on me I always seem to be on the wrong end it. Might be on around 8 after One Life Left ;).

Snes tracks are best its true. I do miss wario stadium and a few others though.

Have to agree with others who think the SNES tracks are the best. As nicely designed the newer courses are, theres something about the 'flatness' and 'straight-forward-racing-ness' about the early tracks thats just too good.

WHY did they omit ghost valley 1 :doh:

I also think the older tracks should be best of 5 laps.
