I was never a big fan of Tomb Raider but saw that the potential was always there. After reading these last few pages, including scans, I'm hyped!

It doesn't have to one-up Uncharted. It just has to be excellent in platforming and maybe even convey a sense of emotion in the character. I want MGS3 + Lara = Realistic Survival-'Horror' Platformer.

This sounds great. Danger is such an underused element in gaming. Hopefully they've played Demon's Souls and taken some cues on just how rewarding a highly dangerous environment can be. This is exactly what I've wanted Tomb Raider to do for years, I hope they pull it off.

Is it just me, or does the name Tomb Raider suddenly seem a bit inappropriate somehow? The trailer has rather a dark and depressing vibe to it and then suddenly at the end, BAM, the logo appears. The title lacks, I dunno... gravitas. I guess it just seems a bit incongruous because, in my mind, that name is so heavily associated with a very different kind of tone.

Nice trailer though. I'm still really looking forward to playing the game.

Nicely put together trailer. Having said that, why was the voiceover like that? Having her delivering the lines so slowly and deliberately really makes it sound like an American doing what they think an English person speaks like... even if it isn't. Presumably just a placeholder/trailer thing, mind you.
