And we are off!

-Everyone plays each other once. 7 Minute half's.

-You can play your games in any order you like, organize your fixtures/post shit in here.

-End date is the 26th Sept. That is around 2 fixtures a week to finish on time but feel free to play more!

-Transfer Window opens to you, once you have played 7 games. You can then make upto three changes if you wish. See team selection thread for more details.

-I really don't want to remove anyone but those who fall massively behind may have to be removed.

Result Reporting!

PM me your results, (HERE) maybe add one or two match details/scorers, then I will release a weekly update. After I have posted the results of course feel free to post a match report if you like. The reason behind the PMing is to avoid having the amount of fixtures played being massively diverse across the league, due to the play when you can mentality, so I'm going to drip a few fixtures into the league each week and try and keep everyone on similar 'games played'.

The League!

-Finish 1st to be crownd the 'RLLMUK Fantasy League champion!' (Its no copy of FIFA11 I know!) and qualify for Champions league Semi-final.

-Finish 2nd and qualify for the champions league Semi-final

-3rd will play 6th in the champions league, the winner to play 2nd in the Semi-final.

-4th will play 5th in the champions league, the winner to play 1st in the Semi-final.

-The eventual winner to be crown 'RLLMUK Fantasy champions League Winner!'

Update One – ‘Brace’ Yourselves.

Jamin and Sith opened up the festivities being the first to get a game played, and in an unsurprising turn of events it was the premiership champion who took all three points with a 5-2 victory, the little known Kieta bagging himself a hattrick.

Up next it was Timmo, who seems to be aiming for the transfer season sooner rather than later, His first game of the season was against Mackenies Wayne Rooney orientated outfit and it didn’t go well for Timmo, a goal from Rossi wasn’t enough as Mackenie bagged him self a 3-1 opening day victory.

It wasn’t over for Timmo there though, he got back on track later that evening, this time condemning LittleJoe to opening day defeat by the same score line 3-1, Brazilian, Pato providing a brace, with two of the goals.

Tyler and Al got there first fixture on the board, this one ended 3-1 in favour of the premiership man as new City boy, David Silva opened his account with a brace.

Manic and Johnny then put there United links a side and went at each other in a high scoring affair but it was Johnny who took the points with a 5-3 victory. Three players managed to bag them selves a brace in this one, Eto’o for the magpies, Di Natale picked up where he left off last season but most surprisingly Gary Cahill got himself an impressive two goal haul.

It was fantasy boss man Steely up next taking on two of his Middlesbrough chums, Jazzy fell first at the hands of a Gilardino brace in an end to end affair which ended 3-2. Then it was the turn of Smithstock who fell 3-1 this time by the brace of Thiery Henry, courtesy of a couple of ‘shin bounces’.

Only Pompey, Pants, Tomox and the holidaying Wincho didnt squeeze a game in, in a hectic first night.

Nice work Steely!

I will add that v Jonny I was coasting at 3-1 up, missing chances galore when he mounted the mother of all comebacks to score 4 times in the last 20 minutes

Good enjoyable games, I'm loving this fantasy stuff!

Steely - with your blessing (and if people fancy it once a few more league games are played) I may introduce a straight forward KO Cup to run alongside the 'main event'?

By all means mate, go for it! It would be fitting to have a 'Fantasy League Cup'.

Good work Steely, putting your heart into this.

Up for a KO cup Manic, 15 games suddenly doesn't seem so many when most of us are on quite a lot!

I expect post-BAP each Thurs will be a time a lot of games get played seeing as we're all on.

The lack of a job at the moment really helps! :D

Yeah, it does seem some folk will have it wrapped up before we get out of August, or the end of next week haha. I dont know what to do to combat it, Increasing the number of game to home and away would no doubt be probably be too much for some.

I think it will work out fine mate, it's like xmas at the moment and we're all the 5 year olds rushing down to play on our new toy at 5am. It'll slow up a little and people will be away and stuff so it'll even out.

If we are all done by end of Aug you can just pull the finals forward and we can start again!

In the meantime I'll get to work on the cup comp to give people another focus.

Just realized, Johnny has Tim Cahill not Gary. Which makes the two goal haul a lot less impressive :P

And, get this fact fans and commentators alike, they were both headers. His 1,000th goal with his head and he's not scored with either foot since he was a glint in his aboriginal fathers eye. Crazy shit, I'm sure you'll agree Motty.
