Gears shots were done by someone on GAF who has a HD capture card..

Forza 4 shots are from some Livery editor testers who got early access to that game and are now posting some of their work using the Photo mode export which posts pics to the Forza website.. the lighting on the Top Gear studio backdrop is fantastic!

Photo/render mode in console games is the new Amiga screenshots on the back of Spectrum boxes. (you know the game doesn't look that good while rolling, but you get hyped all the same)

Few Deus Ex interior shots:

The LIMB clinics are one of my favourite interiors in Deus Ex. For anyone who's not played it, what you don't get from the picture is the way the detail on the glass panels moves. It felt less like the clinics had been designed by a videogame developer, and more that the Managing Director of LIMB had met with an interior design firm, and discussed various design briefs over lunch, been to presentations etc. before deciding what he wanted. It just felt real, somehow.
