With talk of Crysis 1 coming to the consoles I remembered I still had a game of Warhead (hopefully to be included for console folk) on the go. It does inside as nicely as it does outside.

Sorry, but a few more Crysis Warhead. After the indoorsy bit there's a bit with a train, and huge guns, and things that go Kerblammo when you shoot them. And it's painfully pretty.

Homefront. No, I don't know why I'm playing it either. This is about the only screenshot I have which doesn't have the word 'Follow' in it somewhere.

Yeah, Homefront's vistas are quite pretty to look at. The people models are okay I guess too.

Gone back old school "next gen" and got Brothers In Arms Hells Highway. Looks bloody good for a 5 year old game with no modding.

Still can't believe how good BIA:Hells Highway looks and also plays. Loving the little skirmishes and it really satisfies when you efficiently take out several squads of Nazis without taking a casualty.

Along with BIA:HH I also got Wolverine Origins as I loved the 360 version and was curious how it would look all specced up and it looks pretty good.

Forza 4 shots are from some Livery editor testers who got early access to that game and are now posting some of their work using the Photo mode export which posts pics to the Forza website.. the lighting on the Top Gear studio backdrop is fantastic!

Photo/render mode in console games is the new Amiga screenshots on the back of Spectrum boxes. (you know the game doesn't look that good while rolling, but you get hyped all the same)

The LIMB clinics are one of my favourite interiors in Deus Ex. For anyone who's not played it, what you don't get from the picture is the way the detail on the glass panels moves. It felt less like the clinics had been designed by a videogame developer, and more that the Managing Director of LIMB had met with an interior design firm, and discussed various design briefs over lunch, been to presentations etc. before deciding what he wanted. It just felt real, somehow.
