Nurburgring in the dark was great (because I won)*

And I lost both my headlights on the second corner  ;)

*I would have been second but someone kindly let me past on the last corner so I could unlock the track. (Sorry I forgot who it was), plus the fact that Egham Ninja was kicking our asses before his connection died.

After something Kerraig said yesterday, I tinkered with my routers settings (completely forgot about the inbuilt firewall etc :huh: ) and lo and behold I don't have any problems connecting to anything now.

Any which router settings were these then?

Hehe, nice to meet NumberSix and Penguin Lad for the first time today. I was playing in the bedroom and my girlfriend was sleeping so no voice communicator for me I'm afraid, hopefuly next time though.

Just wanted you both to not think I was ignoring you.

The race where we did minis and enzos was funny as fuck: we were like 'hmm, maybe he doesn't know' as you zoomed off into the distance.

Never done that mini thing before - want to try with four teams next time. Top laugh. :D

Sorry for leaving at 10:30 last night. I thought I'd go to bed at a reasonable hour. But then, I thought, "One more solo race and I'll rank up a level". and it ended up being another post-midnight session. Sigh. That supercars season is fantastic. I'm also beginning to appreciate how much information is encoded in the tyre marks: not just braking points and a good line, but also how hard to brake, and whether you need to pump the pedal as you go through a long corner. It makes learning the many tracks much easier. Bloodshot eyes and clawlike hands again this morning.

Thanks for the invite last night Jonny5! First proper session I've had on Live. Still finding the whole headset thing a bit weird but there we go.

Of course the night was topped off with the XBox hanging, then my laptop (which acts as a wireless bridge) hanging, shortly followed by Telewest giving up. Still, it's all good.

How does that Mini/Enzo game work? I couldn't hear you guys before we started so I didn't understand why some people were Enzos and some were slower cars. When I saw I was way to far ahead I decided to wait and see what was happening and all I saw was a bunch of lunatics crashing all over the place haha.

Hopefuly I'll be on today with a comunicator so you can all hear me shouting "Fucking night tracks I fucking hate them".

How does that Mini/Enzo game work?

Everybody gets into pairs,one person in the pair gets a mini, the other has anything they want (an Enzo usually).

The winner is the team that get their mini across the line first.

Simple, and very funny.

Its best round the Nurburgring with 4 teams of 2. Great game! <_<

Yea sorry we couldn't really explain the rules. Next time get her to play as well, you can be a team <_<

I going on PGR now, anyone up to play cat and mouse?

I tried to join your game and it kept bringing up the "Game no longer on" type message, why does that happen? I tried for ages to get into your game and when I selcted your name it would only ask me wether I wanted to take you out of my friends list. When it did give me the option to join it would never let me...

Yeah, I'll try and be there. I've got a terrible flu at the moment so I won't be sounding too chirpy but you can take comfort in the fact I came last in every single race I had with Poet, Pengiun Lad and Stiff One yesterday so I won't be much better than you.
