Well it would help us to find each other. I sent you a request a while ago so you just need to accept it. When you're in the Live area of PGR2 then all you need to do is bring up the friends list and choose whichever one of us is online, you should then be able to jump to our game.

I'm still feeling dicey so you may want to add other forumites to your friends list in case I'm not on. Having said that I found Pengiun Lad and NumberSix by pure chance, which was nice.

My gamertag is Poet MP so add me - I'll have to delete someone off my friends list (I need to get rid of about 60 anyway) to fit you on.

I'm off to a early evening cinema showing later and my little bro (Fuel here) is over so we'll play a little tonight, probably about 9pm onwards.

Nice to play you tonight, I'm quite embaressed I couldn't beat you even though I've had the game for nearly a week ;)

Thanks to the late night cat & mouse shenanigans teams too, that was the most fun I've had on Live :)

It looks really good. I can see single player getting boring very quickly imho but with xblive it's fantastic. Was odd with the cat and mouse race as you say, seeing as I was shite at it.

Racing with just mini's was a laugh though, even if everyone's seemed to be faster on the straights than me :x

I did buy some cars after the first few races online but I've only completed the first 2 stages so can't buy anymore than them yet. This Kudos system was a total suprise to me as well, how long must it take to get to XBLive level 10?!?

The whole thing just took some getting used too after NFS:Underground. Give me a week, and I'll keep up with the pack then. ;)

That was good fun, especially around the tight Florence track. Cat and mouse was a good laugh as well.

TBH, I think it's probably the best racing game I've played. Good single player variety and excellent Live support. Handling on the cars just feels right as well.

I'd agree with that. The difficulty on single player is perfectly pitched, too. When you start it's a struggle to get a bronze medal. A week in you're cursing as you fail at that last silver, then it gets really serious.

I love how your expectations change as you play more, too. Before long you think nothing of a 4000 kudos target on some of the cone challenges, whereas at the start you're happy to just get round.

oh and was everyone on there last night from here? i noticed the usernames/xblive tags aren't the same for some...

There are a few changes, like Egham Ninja being Layte100 and ShinyThings being Rock It On. NumberSix is also different online, Choccy if I remember correctly.

It can lead to some embarassment, yesterday someone from the forum (I won't name names) told me they played against Layte100 and said he wasn't all that. I then said "Really? He keeps saying he's great, what a let down. I played Egham Ninja though and he's really good". Hehe, the person involved was too nice to point out I'd made a tit of myself.

Oh. I haven't been there yet :) Where's it at then?

I've been working up the ladder buying in each class as i go :)

laytye100 : I wasn't taking it seriously. Not least because one of these days i'll beat ya :)
