Playstation Vita

I remember it taking a while to get me hooked too. Started playing it just to get a few trophies and the next thing I knew its pretty much the game I've spent most time playing. I've got to be somewhere close to the 100hrs trophy, even though my stats only say about 40hrs (it doesn't record the stats pre patch)

Edit: make sure you have your Near set to collect crystal gifts automatically.

What ToMB does so well is how it communicates positive feedback to the player. It's a party in your head with ka-chinging cash machines, fireworks going off and slot machines paying out all at the same time. The fact it bears only cursory connection to what you are doing on screen is somehow irrelevant.

Today I found out that we've just moved to a country which uses the US region for its 3DS, and NTSC-J for its 360. Coming from a country which used Euro/Oceania PAL for both consoles I'm now mildly pissed off as I can't buy anything locally for either!

So to make myself feel better I'm going to buy a nice, region-free, Vita. I feel an incoming Vita with memory card and MLB 13, P4G, and Soul Sacrifice in a month or so.

Since I've only got a puny low level in TOMB, I've been playing without spending crystals to use gems and stuff, as it seems like it would be a waste. Is this right, or am I actually just gimping the speed that I level up?

Try and log on everyday just for the daily scratch card. That should give you enough crystals to play with. And every time you level up you'll get your lives refilled. I used to play with just the dynamite bonus when I was lower levels. Just for the fun of it

The US PSN Blog has announced some Everybody's Golf DLC

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/03/14/hot-shots-golf-world-invitational-goes-asynchronous-new-courses-characters-kat/

The classic Mt. Sakura returns from Hot Shots Golf Fore!, great for advanced and novice players alike. Those of you who have been with us over the years can reminisce, while those of you who are just joining us can experience some of our great courses from the past. Another course we are bringing back is Northern Fox. This too is a novice-friendly course, but don’t be fooled — there are some tricky course designs here and there. Both Mt. Sakura and Northern Fox have been revamped completely and look great in today’s resolution standards.

Last but not least, we’re also adding a brand new golf course named Mar Cielo. Surrounded by emerald green waters, this pretty beach resort style golf course is sure to keep the intermediate and advanced players challenged. Don’t get too relaxed on this beautiful golf resort, and watch for the landscapes and obstacles we’ve thrown in there.

We’re also adding new characters to the game: Erika, Gloria, and Kat from the PS Vita fan-favorite Gravity Rush. Kat is very much intrigued with her discovery of golf, and is gravitating to the sport with a great deal of curiosity.

These new courses and characters will be available next Tuesday when PlayStation Store updates. Each character will cost $0.99, with the courses going for $2.99 apiece. You’ll be able to grab the whole set for $11.99, andPlayStation Plus members will get 25% off that price, bringing it down to $8.99.

What load out did you use to get it?

Purple totem for extra bonuses, and then just the dynamite and lightning bonuses. Only went for purple matches and 4 in a rows. Kept shuffling the board til I got them. If you hit the PS button it pauses the timer and you can still see most of the board to check for matches. Took me ages!

If you haven't bought MotorStorm RC yet you should be ashamed. That said, Sony have sent me a code for it by accident so I may as well share the wealth. First person to quote this post gets it.

me please :-)

Did you buy the Ratchet & Clank Q-Force game? If so they sent out Motorstorm RC to people as way of an apology for the delay.
