Finished Persona 4 this week. I've no idea why I stuck with it to the end, as it really annoyed me.

Anyway, now I need something else to play, and I'm thinking EDF. Is it still £50,000 or whatever it was on release (I remember it being expensive), or has it had a price drop yet? And no, I can't access the store from work to check. :)

Given that I skipped through pretty much all of P4G, that sounds like possibly the worst choice of game for me, ever.

Anyone played either Lego Lord of the Rings or Lumines on Vita?

Are they any good?

Lego LOTR is good fun, and looks pretty. I think it's just the 3DS version ported, but it's still great. Lumines is a nice enough game if you've never played it before, but I find it really boring after a while, and games seem to last for ages.

FFvii looks really good on this, the pre-rendered backgrounds are gorgeous.

I have this weird thing with JRPGs in that I struggle to play them on a main console but for some reason I love them on a hand held. FFvii is a game I've wanted to get properly into for a while now and I put 8 hours in on Sunday after I got it from the PSN.

The Argos deal got me at last. Picked up my Vita yesterday and really enjoying it so far. Got PS Plus straight away - it's such a good concept.

What's my first port of call? And importantly, what case recommendations have you got?

Go have a look at the Persona 4 Golden thread - admittedly it's not everyone's bag, but it's an update to one of my all-time favourite JRPGs and just does loads of things right and is awesome.

Aside from that, Wipeout, Everybody's Golf, Gravity Rush... games I haven't played but are popular around these parts would include Virtue's Last Reward and ToMB, and there are ports/updates such as Jet Set Radio and EDF on the Store. :D Oh, and most people would recommend a Plus sub for the freebie offers and discounts (I still haven't got around to this myself :( )

I got one of these cases from Game, though I got it in red instead of blue. It protects it well and holds plenty of games. It was around £12.

Strange question perhaps, but what Vita games would you say are unlikely to be a part of PS Plus? I've been tempted by Golf forever but always assume it's going to be given on Plus fairly soon.

Or the chances of Soul Sacrifice and Persona 4 Golden appearing soon, and so on.

It's like a mexican stand off isn't it? Who will flinch first?

I suspect in the case of Persona 4 Golden, that as it's still selling quite well it won't appear.

Soul Sacrifice is too new to appear any time soon I would imagine.

Not sure about the Golf one but isn't that quite inexpensive?

Edit: I should say that Persona 4 is worth whatever you pay for it.

I have doubts Persona 4 would ever be part of it, which is why I was happy to just go out and buy it in the finish, but I guess there's no real way of knowing.

So is EDF on the Vita good then? I have £25 of PSN credit burning a hole and have occasional bouts of thinking I should probably use the Vita for more than just P4G all the time.

Golf is still the price of 3 months of Plus ;) I should have budged when it was £5 or so in the sales a couple months back.

That's the dark side of PS+, isn't it? I find myself holding off on Vita games now as almost everything I've bought has turned up on Plus.

I meet the monthly PS+ announcements with wildly conflicting emotions.

I love it really.
