Playstation Vita

Although I liked Limbo on PS3 very much, I think these guys should look at Aminata Design wrt their pricing. Machinarium cost €6 on the Vita, with improved/added controls (no crossbuy/play possible) Selling the exact same game with no changes at the same price seems a bit... greedy?

How much is it? I bought it on 360 and enjoyed it so I'm unlikely to buy it again if it's not supercheap.

Does anyone else find it incredibly frustrating trying to type messages on the Vita or is there something wrong with my hands? It's incredible how I can't spell the simplest words and shortest phrases, it's like texting drunk all the time.

Hmm, I enjoyed it but not enough to pay another tenner for it. It's a difficult one I suppose. It's worth it if you've never played it before but I wonder if having the PS3 version out first and on PS+ means they didn't make it crossbuy because loads of us would get it for free and it wouldn't be worth the time they had spent porting it.

I was lost for things to play yesterday so I ended up reloading an old Persona 4 Golden save and having some fun with that. I kind of want to do another NG+ run, or maybe start over from the beginning on a higher difficulty, but I'm juggling a few other bits and pieces at the moment. Even so, I don't think I could ever get bored of it

Was the GnG PSP game ever released on the vita store? I've got an itch to play it and it is such a good little gem. I think it came out on the US store but not sure about the EU one?

Just checked on the Euro store and it's not there. :( I still have my PSP copy - it's ace. :D

Made about £70 trading in stuff last weekend so I might treat my Vita to some extra SEN funds and/or a new game. There's a lot of stuff out there that I haven't got around to so I'm still making my mind up :P

All 50 levels in Velocity Ultra perfected. Feels good. :)

That's impressive. How exactly do you perfect a level by the way ? Not sure I'd do all 50 levels but I'd like to aim for the trophy where you perfect all the critical zones and I'm not sure what the exact criteria is. There are some levels where I've got each goals but only get gold.

Criteria for a perfect: don't die, don't finish below the gold target time, rescue all survivors and make sure you hit the XP criteria. This often means defeating all enemies in a level and picking up the power-ups they leave behind. So for a perfect you have to do all of those in one playthrough of a level.

Another double thumbs-up here for Life of Pixel.

Any Vita owners who haven't yet, really should dig deep for the £1.59 this lovely little game costs. For that you get 64 marvellous retro themed platforming levels, with a lovely double-jumping mechanic that controls fluidly on the d-pad or left stick, and offers a perfectly-pitched challenge just the right side of tricky. As well as the awesomely themed level graphics (from ZX81 to NES) there are some great bits of music (love the C64 sid-synth theme), lots of nods to classic games (fave was the Braybrook Uridium levels!) and a totally addictive, one-more-try experience.

In fact the only problem I had was finding the bloody thing on the PS Store. Search didn't work for me, but you'll find it in the Playstation Mobile gaming section of the vita store (IIRC).

Go get it at once!

Apparently it's cross buy
