Capcom dipping a toe into the Vita waters again?

Sony: "Please release something! Pleeease!"

Capcom; "Oh, ok, then. How do you like the sound of Dragon's Dogma.."

Sony :"YEEESSS!!"

Capcom: "...Quest F2P 2d strategy game!"

Sony: "..."

I wish they'd release Journey for the Vita. I'd quite happily pick it up and play it through every few months.

Should do a TGC vita pack with flow, flower and journey all together. I'd buy that for ten dollar.

Haven't seen it mentioned but there's a PSP sale on the moment (slightly disappointing to me since I was excitedly hoping for Wipeout when I clocked it):

LittleBigPlanet
Was €7.99/£6.49, now €3.99/£3.19

God of War: Chains of Olympus
Was €7.99/£6.49, now €3.99/£3.19

God of War: Ghost of Sparta
Was €7.99/£6.49, now €3.99/£3.19

MotorStorm Arctic Edge
Was €7.99/£6.49, now €3.99/£3.19

Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters
Was €7.99/£6.49, now €3.99/£3.19

Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier
Was €7.99/£6.49, now €3.99/£3.19

ModNation Racers
Was €7.99/£6.49, now €3.99/£3.19

Resistance: Retribution
Was €7.99/£6.49, now €3.99/£3.19

SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3
Was €7.99/£6.49, now €3.99/£3.19

Patapon 2
Was €7.99/£6.49, now €3.99/£3.19

LocoRoco 2
Was €7.99/£6.49, now €3.99/£3.19

Killzone: Liberation PLA
Was €7.99/£6.49, now €3.99/£3.19

Obviously cheaper again if you have Plus.

I got LocoRoco 2 as I've never played either of them, is Patapon 2 worth downloading as well? It seems interesting but potentially quite grindy from what I've read.

On the blog post I read it said that they'd be adding new titles for the next few weeks. So you might be in luck.

There is meant to be something from 2K coming according to rumours, so Borderlands? XCOM? Bioshock?

The Bioshock Vita game announced at last E3? Hmm... May end up being Minecraft. I like surprises :)

XCOM would be a good fit. Wasn't there an interview a while back that confirmed Bioshock Vita never began development?

I heard Ken Levine on a podcast saying they would do it IF Sony funded it...that podcast was a few months back I think.

There is a chance that Sony decided to fund it, Vita gained a fair amount of momentum over the past 3-4 months and this could be a chance for them to really push the system with some HUGE games to get as many out there in time for the PS4 release.

Vita needs the following at E3:

1. Price Drop - Even if it is minimal

2. Larger memory cards - plus better prices on these

3. Some well known AAA games announced that aren't straight up ports

4. Solid backup library of games, such as the stream of Indie titles

5. Maybe a hardware revision with onboard memory.

6. A show of support with the PS4 remote play, with maybe some exclusive content for Vita from those games (vita only levels in Knack for example)

I said 'a fair amount'!

In my opinion it has, I see more and more people picking them up and a decent amount tempted to pull the trigger. There is more support coming via the Indie developers and sales aren't as depressing as they once were. This year's E3 is pivotal for the system I think.

I think it has too. However I know a couple of people who are "thinking about" picking one up but haven't because there's still this perception that it has no games, which is silly of course. But yes, I agree that a good showing this week could potentially give it a massive boost.

Still doesnt look great in Japan.

I mean I really enjoy my Vita but I'm not sure there is much point being overly optimistic about its sales.

(Wii U LOL :( )

Great? No. Improving? Yes!

Aside from the 3DS it looks like nothing is performing well according to that chart, but it is keeping up with the PS3 right now and that is better than languishing in last like it was a few months back.

As said E3 will dictate a lot of the system's future, Sony need to nail it and make it a vital bit of kit to own if you have a PS4 too.
