Buggers were *very* quick to start with the complaints, ha. :)

It struck me as a slightly touchy town when I logged in in the morning ( after having been inactive since midnight the previous night ) to find an 'inactive play' complaint lodged against me! I only ever deal those out for people who've done bugger all for a couple of days.

Someone wasted a load of resources by completing the building emergency defences which we didn't need - we had stored some AP into it in readiness in case we did need it. Really stupid. That has doomed the town I'm in, since, on day 10, we now face between 690 and 800 zombies with defences of 504, 21 people, no water, and a smattering of resources.

I am dehydrated, so no point upgrading my hovel to a shack in hopes of surviving longer than the other 20 people left.

This game shows that communism can't work.

Just a heads up that me and Tarules, the last 2 surviving members of one of hte muk coalitions are likely to be killed tonight.

Assuming that happens are the rest of you (Kloid, Garibaldi and err.. the other person (sorry, I'm not on the site right now :))) still up for a new town or should we look for replacements?

^ Pretty much.

From my own (fatal) brush with infection, it's Paracetoid to remove the infection. However you need to clean it with a bandage beforehand otherwsie it'll just return, so it's essentially a twi item thing unless you just want to give yourself a day+1 for score. And yep, 50/50 chance of survival each night, coin tossed just before the attack.

Well, my first 2 characters have died horribly. First character was in a town which lasted 6 days, we were down to 20 people and folk weren't going on expeditions or communicating much, which seems to have led to the gate being left open at midnight <_<

Second character I messed up early on and got trapped in a zombie square, had to escape but got wounded. I died of infection the next night - lesson learnt! Both of these characters are waiting for coalitions now.

But my third character is still alive in a great wee town and the drama is rising! We are on day 5. There are quite a few Heroes and other experienced players in this town who communicate well, we organise expeditions, we've built loads of constructions already and are looking pretty sweet.... except there's a traitor in our midst! Some guy has been trying to poison us and today he succeeded in killing someone with poisoned food. We've shunned him but I wonder what other malice he will get up to! We have uncovered a lot of buildings in our area and even cleared a zone which was full of vegetation. It goes to show how effective you can be if people communicate, agree on the course of action and organise scavenging as a team.

My last town survived to day 8 - really good fun

Just a lack of nuts and bolts that finished us off

I think I'm beginning to understand what to build and upgrade on what days (or plan to at least) to have a fighting chance

Won't be starting a new town until after Christmas now though - can't commit the time to log on a couple of times a day

What's your username Gloomy Andy? Exactly the same thing happened in my town, everyone died on day 8 because we were missing nuts and bolts and had to keep building temporary defences.

Totally love it, but I'm staying dead until about the 27th when I'm back home and have time to play again.

Anyone keen for a coalition starting on the 27th/28th, let me know.

Nuts and bolts are very hard to come by, especially when people use them on screaming saws early on. In general that building is a waste, unless you're desperate.

My newest town is screwed already, quite a lot of zombies on day two, and we couldn't get enough defences up.

Down to 19 already, and a bunch are terrified.

Heh

Definetly no zombie respite due to Christmas.

We survived last night with 7 citizens. We locked one out for lulz and are now down to 6. This 6 includes the forums very own Therearerules as well as two other citizens who we had previously banished.

The next attack (on day 7) will bring 600 zombies our way but we only have 230 or so defences and no resources to make anything worthwhile.

It's been a fun but I'm going to be quite glad to get into a new town after christmas.

Name is Gloomy (similar avatar on their forums).

Who are you? Could very well have been in the same town.

Definitely up for some coalition around then.

My username is StuMiller.

Must have been a different town I think. I was in Weird Lodge. Started out amazingly, lots of communication and planning and then slowly went tits up as we had to repeatedly waste AP/resources on temporary defences.

We should try and get two Rllmuk coalitions in to a town. We could own them zombie bastards then.
