I love those arcade classic board games. Donkey Kong and Pac Man are probably my favourites. It'd be great to get a full set of them. I think the full list is:

Donkey Kong

Pac Man

Frogger

Defender

Zaxxon

Berserk

Turbo

Anyone think of any others from the MB series? Maybe even have them and are looking to sell them on?

Love that MB series too.. Although only ever seem to find PacMan and incomplete copies of Defender lately.

Although did stumble upon this during today's carboot sales:

I have the US version too - there's apparently lots of shared material between the US and UK editions, but it's worth spending a few minutes going through them and pulling out the really America-centric cards, just to prevent those moment of "I don't get it". It was always particularly sad when my wife (an American) made a play she was particularly proud of, only to have everyone else in the room just look at her and say "huh?"

I think people must really dislike quality Boardgames around here.. This week saw me coming away from my local car boot with a mint barely used copy of Formula D.. For, yep you guessed it £2!

The woman selling even told me it was worth £40+.. Madness!

If I had any love for Formula D, I'd call you a bastard. You bastard.

Still, awesome finds lately. Same car boot sales or just in the local area?

:)

They are just in the local area, they aren't even particularly early bird finds either, just seem to go unnoticed by the majority of buyers for some reason.

The Works have another sale on. Picked up Vasco Da Gama for £10, and there were a few other Rio Grande games (Priests of Ra, Unexpected Treasures, Sylla, some others that I forget) available.

If anyone sees an Arctic Scavengers that they could pick up for me I'd be super appreciative.

There are a few on the website, but it looks like the best stuff has already sold out:

I might be in Birmingham city centre tomorrow. If so I'll check the New Street branch out for you.

None in MK either. Just did a raid of local charity shops though, picked up Newmarket from Gibson Games for a quid (just to try, a pound is nowt!). Turned down Championship Show Jumping. (1975 release) at a fiver. Even i have a limit.

The Works at the Metrocentre was pretty well stocked with bargains. I picked up Priests of Ra, Havana, the Bonnie and Clyde mystery rummy game and Mousquetaires du Roy. They also had copies of Black Friday, Vasco da Gama, Palazzo, Sylla, La Citta, Samurai the Card game, Cape Horn, Taj Mahal and Bean Trader.

Possibly some others which I can't remember, I was fairly strict with myself and stuck to the 3 games only as I appear to have run out of space again.

edit: oops, four games. I can't count.

Nice one, thanks :)

Sorry, didn't make it yesterday but I'm definitely going next week as I'm visiting the university with my daughter. I'll take a look then if you've had no joy in the meantime.

The Castleford outlet had all of these yesterday, plus a few copies of Cuba.
