It's only going to get worse when Heron restocks their sale. We're all going to be fighting over the scraps they throw to us. People will be posting about buying multiple copies of The Simpons Cluedo. It'll be horrible.

They still have Civilization and Tales of the Arabian Nights. I don't know why I keep checking, and yet I do.

My Heron stuff arrived this morning at work. I'm not at work and won't be now till early April. I haven't timed this very well.

Still at least my stuff has arrived. Our thoughts are with Moosie and his delivery let us all pray and use our rosary of D20s to invoke the gaming gods on his behalf.

Is the Elixir in the Heron Games sale a modern version of Elixir from the 80's?

Also really tempted by Chaos in the Old World. Any opinions?

I'm not sure about Elixir. Having a look on boardgamegeek would suggest the games are similar but not the same. You could always email Heron Games and ask them.

I've not played Chaos in the Old World but Rab reviewed it on Downtime Town and liked it a lot. I think it looks as though it needs it's full compliment of 4 players but is also highly rated on BGG.

I think (as in 99%) there's been a fuck up with the printing with my Ascension. The 2 decks in there are exactly the same with no differences whatsoever, and none of the cards that are on the instructions inside. That's wrong isn't it?

That's bloody nice of him. I've read a few reviews of Ascension and not many of them have been glowing, so I'm curious as to what you think of it.

Distribution problems, as in there isn't one for the UK. The lad at work imported it and really enjoys it. It sounds like it has some wicked mechanics.

Apparently there's no Red Herbs but there is First Aid Sprays. There's an expansion due in April. He bought it from Coolstuffinc and came to about £30, which isn't that bad tbh.
