Bargain buys for everyone.

On the other hand, I do. Good fun solo and even better with multiple players in my opinion. Be warned, the rules are terribly written and it took our group's top rules lawyer to decode them.

A very cheap iOS bargain here. Wabash cannonball also known as Chicago Express published by Queen Games is up for 59p. It's a remake of one of the Winsome train games which I've never played so I'm getting it to learn the system and try it out.

They are normally slightly more complex games although not taking things as far as the 18xx series. It looks to have a good tutorial as well.

I bought it a few weeks ago. I'm sort of in two minds about it. I like it, but I can't quite work out if I'm failing to get the right strategy to win, or if it's just really randomm because of the various conditions that cause the game to end.

My Wrath of Ashardalon order from The Book Depository was apparently dispatched today. I am excite!

I've got a four day weekend coming up too, so that was well timed. :)

Bit of an expensive one here but it may interest some of you.

Wrath of Ashardalon, the follow up to Castle Ravenloft as if you didn't know, is available at The Book Depository.

Wrath of Ashardalon

It's £43.17 with free P&P BUT apparently the voucher code FCC222 will get you an extra 10% off making it £38.85 including delivery.

This is shamelessly stolen from BGG but I just want to keep tempting you all with goodies. :D

It's £35.19 now :) .... :(

Oh you bugger :(

With that FCC222 code (10% off) it's £31.67 including P&P  It's pretty much £50 everywhere by the time you factor in P&P

Oh fuck it, that's too much of a bargain to resist. Ordered!

Right no more boardgames for a month (or two)

Petroglyph games are doing 66% off all their titles through March. Heroes of Graxia works out at a shade under $12, with $20 shipping on top. Still, pretty cheap!

Bah, I was going to ring them to ask them if they'd refund me to get it at that price seeing as I've not even taken delivery yet but it's back to what I paid on the website <_<

It's got to have been an error I guess, well done on catching it!

Yay, today is a good day, game delivery day! I'm still shocked at the size of Wrath. I'm sure many of you with a larger collection have seen bigger (oo-er!) but it was the overall depth that did it for me :P

I took pics to celebrate and illustrate.

Brilliant, isn't it? Calling Ashardalon a mini is ridiculous - you could kill someone with that. I'm playing it tonight with a bunch of Euro lovers - going to shove Ameritrash in their faces until they vomit.

Portobello Market - as recommended by the mighty Jonnyalpha - arrived this morning. For a fiver I was expecting a deck of a cards, but it's a proper full-on board game in a big box. Looking forward to giving that a go tonight. Maybe it'll distract me from hanging around that Earth Reborn bargain he's just posted above.

Amazon have the pre-order up for the sequel to the excellent, enormous and expensive Castle Ravenloft and Wrath of Ashardalon.

Currently it's priced up at £27.39 which seems a bit of a bargain. Get in quick before they change their minds.
