Starfox.

.::: The SNES orignal I hope. Never understood why they raped the game's soundtrack so much with the following incarnations.

:D I found the N64 incarnation had a superb soundtrack.....

.::: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooo........................

I lost my faith in you. :lol:

Well, okay, perhaps it suffered from a slightly repetitive nature, more so than most games with looped soundtracks, but apart from that it was fine. I think. :lol:

.::: To elaborate, I found the SNES StarFox/Starwing being far more aggressive and 'high-tech'. I liked that complementing style with the straight angular look and feel of the game.

The other ones started to become more bombastic, epic and 'cuddly'. As if it HAD to be Nintendo's own Star Wars. Just look at what Pepper was in the SNES version and what he was turned in later on! This was reflected in the musical change as well. The game lost it's edge, on all fronts. (Despite doing actually nifty things like multiplayer, and the on-rails/full-3D switching.)

Ah, I see what you mean. Lets hope that Namco can recapture that almost eighties-like techno trance feel for the new Starfox then.....

Pontiac Cake. Post Office. Economists. Boom years. Spending on a credit card. More nationalisation. Tax bill. 95% tax. 19 for you, 1 for me. That's what i said. I'm now factual about it. Well rested. During the sixties. She revived them all. Arabia stopped it. OPEC. They made sure they didn't undercut each other. You didn't know that. It's fascinating. The file on is to spend all your money. I tell you what.

It also has the ending speech in it (Please Namco don't fuck up the new one, although they already did by adding Krystal).

.::: That's very nice indeed. Some of those OCr's truly amaze me sometimes. I really like this one and this one. Also I wonder why these people aren't 'used' by developers themselves. The upcoming Megaman Collection would be great if it added some optional OCr's to the games. :ph34r:

BTW call me a heathen, but I'll be transferring my R4 soundtrack to my Xbox. Finally decent music to drive to in PGR2. :(

chrono trigger's ST was simply amazing

there were a few panzer dragoon saga tracks, that i got from overclocked.org [obviously remixed] were really good. perhaps the originals were good as well?

other games i liked were secret of mana, mario world, zelda the WW.

Oops, forgot to mention Jet Force Gemini. It completely makes the game. I loved the Dagobah-style planet 'Tawfret'. Really atmospheric. Each tune was beautifully suited to the environment.

The lovely menu blips and beeps have been used in Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, which is...nice. ;)
