Yeah, it's a sweet little game. Nothing too taxing (although a couple of platform-y bits can be a little frustrating, and I didn't get on with the race minigame). It's mostly nice to watch the game world unfold - what there is a solidly done. Should be worth the tenner.

Seems like CyberConnect2 is quietly working on another game set in the Tail Concerto universe.

They recently filed a trademark for a "cat and dog RPG" (sic) called Little Tail Story. A 3DS sequel to the rather superb (but too easy) Solatorobo? Let's hope so, as that was one entertaining little game...

Furries rejoice!

Seems the Little Tail Bronx series that started on the PSX way back in 1998 is now getting its third instalment 8 years after Solatorobo (it being the 2nd part in the series), and 7 years after the first rumours :

Now planned for a Spring 2020 release on the Switch (and Steam, the PS4 and the Xbox One) as Fuga: Melodies of Steel. Digital only, but seems a physical copy might be on the way as well:

This is still coming, folks:

"As for Fuga: Melodies of Steel, like for another one of CyberConnect2’s important series, Little Tail Bronx, this game is set in a world where the characters have animal features such as ears and muzzle. So in this game too you fight in this unique world, similar to Tail Concerto and Solatorobo. So there is a connection there, and Fuga can be seen as the most recent installment of this kind of games, but it’s also different since this one is an RPG in which you play children travelling in a tank. We will probably be able to share good news about this game soon, so please look forward to these new developments!"

Shrouded in mystery for almost a decade, and then a stealth release? Hmmm....

Anyhoo, the sequel to Solatorobo, Fuga: Melodies of Steel will be released next month, can you believe it?

The story takes place on a floating continent, an archipelago of both small and large floating islands where two species known as Caninu and Felineko live.

Malt, a young Caninu shepherd, lives with his little sister Mei in Petit Mona, a little village located in the Free Lands of Gasco.

Over the course of a single night, the Berman Empire invades and throws the village into the flames of war.

Malt and his friends manage to get away thanks to their families who were subsequently captured and taken away.

Escaping to a mountain cave, Malt and the other children discover a gigantic tank called the Taranis. They jump aboard, heading out on a journey to save their families!

Just bought this after a mate got it and wouldn't stop raving about it. Calling it the best thing since 13 Sentinels.

Going to jump in somewhere this week. Anyone else with some impressions present?
