RRP is £39.99. Everywhere s doing it for £30 though, I've still not seen anywhere doing it for less than that, or maginally less.

You know town is closer than Asda dude...

I've not seen any midnight openings advertised though? Asda will be open anyways.

But they had those bullshit stylus controls and epically dull train journeys. In Spirit Tracks anyway. I'd quite like a sequel to Minish Cap which I thought was a very solid Zelda game and a definite step up from Capcom compared to the Oracle games.

Have to admit, I found the laggy stylus control impossible to get on with too with Phantom Hourglass. :(If, as with Animal Crossing Wild World, there had be d-pad + button controls too, I would've played more than an hour and a half. Still have Spirit Tracks lying round sealed and unplayed, but lack the motivation if it plays similarly. Tough one.

Oh, err, I hope there's a later Majora's Mask port. If 3DS OoT turns out OK. Which most likely it will.

When I pre ordered LA Noire from shopto, it was posted on the Tuesday, but I only got it Thursday, so don't get to excited for it coming tomorrow.

Fingers crossed though, I'll be rushing home from work, that's for sure.

That's what always happens to me whenever ShopTo dispatch a game on Tuesday.

Will any other OoT old hands be playing the master quest mirror mode right from the off? I hope to regain a feeling I've not had in 13 years, that of not knowing what to do.

Is it unlocked from the start? I thought it had to be unlocked... If not, that's what I'm planning on doing, for the same reason.

GAHHHH. This is doing my noggin in.

Play it again and risk being disappointed, or leave it forever in Rose-tinted, unblenished, memories...

I genuinely don't think Zelda OoT can disappoint, it's nigh on perfect. I'm more excited to play a 13 year old game than pretty much anything else this year (bar Dark Souls).

Plus, buy now for a free Zelda CD!

Oh yes, I loved Minish Cap. It got little love at the time I think, but I was completely captivated by it and was obsessed with it until I completed it. I thought it was better than The Phantom Hourglass, I never played Spirit Tracks.

If it's unlocked I'll do Master Quest I think. I hope all the permutations are there as an option from the start.

I could have sworn I'd read somewhere that master quest is unlocked from the beginning, but I can't find it now. I hope it is.

Ah nuts. Oh well, it's still gonna be ace! :D

Edit: to ashmatuk, that is. I'm not saying 'Ah nuts' to Yiggy's marriage being at least partly due to a Zelda game. That's pretty cool.

I played through it again on the Wii back in 2008 to celebrate the 10 year anniversary and it was just as good as the first time i played it. Considering this version has been completely remastered with better graphics, a smoother frame rate and 3D I can't see it being anything less than an absolute joy. And you can play it anywhere.

Minish Cap was alright but it felt like someone using the Zelda license rather than a proper Zelda. It's difficult to define but I think it relied too heavily on the shrinking mechanic where a true Zelda would be continually creative throughout. Also the bits when you do shrink are heavily guided, it's not as explorative as the NCL games.

This really, shrinking held a lot of promise but was sorely let down by how limited those sections were. Initially the effect was really cool, big bushes, logs, workspaces... But after a little while it just became one of those things and actually felt like a diversion instead of a new world/exploration tool like what the other Zeldas had. Also the collectable and trade-able pieces felt out of place and broke immersion a bit for me; as it was just blatantly a collectable challenge with no reason, being randomly generated also didn't help.

I had similar problems with Twilight Princess...
