I'm a bit worried about these reports about ghosting; it surely wasn't in any of the reviews? Some may say it's 'not a big deal' to play it in 2D instead, but to me it's a pretty bloody big deal as I love the 3D on the machine and playing this in 3D is one of the main reasons for buying it :(

I haven't noticed any and I also think the 3D effect in the game is excellent. Slider is up around 59%.

Argh! God dammit, I have no money this month, having had to pay £1,400 to have my car fixed, and I really want to get a 3DS and Zelda tomorrow.

I mean, this was my favourite game ever until RE4 came out. We're sitting here watching Extreme Fishing with Robson wotsisface but the sound is off and we're listening to music from OoT on Youtube, getting all misty eyed. How can I not get this version?

That's good to hear ... still, I'd be happier if I could see it for myself.

It would seem that mild ghosting is always going to happen on very high contrast screens on 3DS. Bright images on dark backgrounds lightly shine through the barrier. It's not related to eyesight (you can still see the ghosted object with one eye closed). I guess it's a your-mileage-may-vary type of deal how much you notice/are bothered.

Man, I am so looking forward to this arriving tomorrow.

When Game said they shipped Tuesday, and a parcel plopped through my door wednesday, I was a little disappointed to see if was Puzzle Bobble, but am pretty sure they should have time it for tomorrow.

Going to be a great afternoon and evening I reckon. And in the meantime, I have Links Awakening and DK to play. Man, I never thought I would enjoy gameboy games again, how brilliantly were some of them made?

Can't say I've noticed it with the games I own now - the only issue is some flickering before it "warms up".

I feel your pain brother. If I had mine here, rather than sitting at MixUpVille, GamesFuckingStation, I'd invite you round and personally spectate on your gameplay. Watching Robson wotsisface is no way for a decent grown man to spend his evening.

I wouldn't bank on it arriving tomorrow - the Gamestation email pasted earlier in this thread has apparently been received by some people who ordered with Game, too. Given that the alleged ship date was Tuesday and it didn't show up today, the day before release, (unlike pretty much everything Game send) I have a strong suspicion that it'll be Saturday or Monday for those of us who've ordered from them. I very much doubt they've despatched any at this point.

Shall probably buy in-store tomorrow and then take the sealed online order back in its place to claim the £40 refund, which is doubtless what their high street price will be.

Day off on Friday so it's into town early on to pick the game up then several hours of blissful immersion. Some games don't warrant Post Office roulette. Spent a few hours this evening with Project64 but definitely not on the Ocarina ROM - it will be my first time back in Hyrule Field since the original release. It's my 47th birthday on Saturday, I should be playing crown green bowls or something, right?

I'm 47 in a couple of weeks and I'm dropping money on also buying a 3Ds tomorrow just so I can play this again. Worse, I can't see 3D so I'm really diving in head first :)

Anyone any idea what game will be charging for this in store today?, got loads of in store credit but dont really feel like paying £40 for a handheld game.

If you're planning on buying in a regular high street store I'd probably brace yourself for the full 40. I'm trading in two 3DS games I don't play for the 99p deal.

At 47 you should be playing LOTS of golf, going to the gym 3 times a week, watch the premier league religously, think that Jeremy Clarkson is the second coming and never ever play video games.

(I'm 40 and all I ever do is play video games!) Very very few of my friends play games. Not even the advent of the wii has changed that for the 40 somethings.

I'm planning to pick up Zelda at 9.01 this morning (pre ordered of course) and play as much as possible before work begins at 10.00.

Yeah thats what im worried about, £40 seems too high for a handheld game even if its one of the best games ever made.
