On the 3DS I've found games with subtle 3D effects such as rain, particles, etc coming out at you are often more impressive than a huge thing. They've done it really well in this. Just small nuances that make the environment and world feel so much more immersive.

The 3D when you play songs on the ocarina is :wub:

So this is pretty much one of my fav all time games. I remember it coming out in December as it was close to my birthday & just loving every second of it.

So here's the question. Is it worth getting a 3DS for?

How much do you love Ocarina of Time?

You do know you can fire the slingshot while in L-targeting mode (3rd person), and it locks on right?

So I could have l-locked onto the boss and just hit x to shoot his eye automatically? That would have made the fight pretty trivial :)

And that you don't need the slingshot if you throw a deku nut and then jump attack with the Deku stick and then quick stab 2-3 times and the boss dies within the first 6 seconds of the fight 8)

Its so obvious. Why didn't I think of that :D

Got mine yesterday and started playing immediately. Not far at all yet as I haven't had time to play properly (on account of finding out I officially passed my degree with a first, second in my class by 0.5% and achieving an award for clinical performance I had to celebrate!!) but it's utterly gorgeous. I find myself just sort of staring at it watching things go by, it really is a massive improvement over the original in that respect. Hearing the same old music really takes me back as well :)

No ghosting to report of here, but I am a bit bemused as to why people who get issues with the slider at max want to play with it as such? Surely the purpose of having the slider is to find the 'sweet spot' for each person's vision; bearing in mind we're all different, having it on max isn't the desired goal is it? Just having the 3D perfect for the individual is? At least, that's the stance I take with my shitty astigmatistic eyes, I'm just glad I can appreciate it at all because I was worried.

Had a go of Zelda in Game. Was blown away by the visuals. I thought they'd look nice, but the crispness and sense of depth was incredible. I have a whole week to wait until I get my 3DS. Hopefully enough time to get through Grand Prix Story on my phone.

For those who ordered through Gamestation..

I can confirm that we do not have a definite date for the shipment of this item at the moment however we are endeavouring to ship these games today with delivery likely for Monday (22nd June)

As soon as we have further information then we will inform our customers.

Surely, they can send it first class today for delivery tomorrow. Oh, but they might be fucking lying about it I suppose.

Just got to hyrule castle town via the Lon Lon ranch to pick up a piece of heart. Hyrule Castle town looks fucking stunning. Made it just in time, had to jump onto the draw bridge while it was being raised :D

Also, noticeable slow down of FPS in the room with all the jars once I began tearing into them :lol:

I think I'm going to take the game very slowly and talk to everyone and do everything, savour it all instead of speed blitzing it.

If anyone has ordered from Game or GameStation and is tempted to buy from a shop and then return their new sealed copy back to that shop when it arrives, I implore you to pay the postage and actually send it back to Game or GameStation, the useless fuckwits they are.

So after a trip to town and my GAME there, I've come back and registered and got the CD! ...I think...

I got an error when I submitted the form, but I pressed back and did it again and it seemed to work and take me through normally. I've gotten two confirmation e-mails, so I'm due anything between 0 and 2 CDs!

To anyone that got the CD with no troubles, does it show up in your 'My Treasures' section?

It's not in my Treasures section but I've had the email.

This looks way better than I thought. Just finished the Deku Tree and it's glorious. Looking around with the analogue stick is really slow though. No problems with the 3D for me.

You should get one anyway because F1 2011 is coming out for it. Oh and Zelda is fantastic.
