I'm having problems registering for the free CD. First it tells me to enter my street address, which I thought I did, unless it wants some bizarre format? Next it says there's an error validating my details and to try again later, but I'm scared if I go off the page it'll 'lose' my having got through the survey but not entered the details...

Yes, it is.

But it doesn't matter man, you're amongst brothers here.

I thought so - so I took a break to finish off the Lego Star Wars set I've been building. Zelda and Lego. At 33. Seems a bit early for a mid-life crisis.

I'm going to give OoT a good few hours tomorrow when the wife's out. Cannot wait!

confirmed by one of the bods at Nintendo.

Great....so Game's ineptitude at getting new releases to customers has cost them the CD then. I cannot believe it's all down to the Royal Mail. Something weird has gone on for sure.

Ah sorry I missed that! Balls, I should've done it earlier :( And they should have at least given some indication that supply was limited

My anger for GAME has increased. Fucking idiots.

Cheers for the info!

Can't have been the Royal Mail if ShopTo copies were also dispatched on Tuesday and got their the next day.

I got an email from Game on Tuesday saying it had been dispatched and the website says the same. People whose game wasn't dispatched have had emails saying it wasn't dispatched.

Motherfuckers! :hmm:

been playing this since Wednesday (thanks again Shopto) and loving it.

I was afraid it wouldnt excite me, because I was bored senseless with twilight princess, but its got its hooks into me, been humming the tunes all day.

Eurogamer hit the mark, 10/10 easily

So I start back at Kokiri Forest every time I save and reload?

This isn't going to get tedious is it?

I don't know how much you know about the game....

But yes there's 2 "stages" of the game - and the one you start in always has you wake up at Link's house.

You get warp songs later on that really help

Picked this up from Currys, cheers to whoever mentioned they had it for £30.

It's been so long since I played this. I had completely forgotten where to find the sword. When I was told it was "somewhere in the forest", I started looking in the Lost Woods. Then I remembered you actually find it.

Oh dear. I'm stuck in the Deku Tree. :D

My memory is terrible, this is going to be like a brand new game for me. I can hardly remember a thing.

I was too! I forgot to go get a certain something before moving on. Feelings from the game I remember. Specifics are all gone.

IIRC, in the first half of the game, if you save outside of a dungeon and quit then you start back at Kokiri Forest, and if you save in a dungeon you start back at the beginning of the dungeon but with all progress made saved. I don't remember finding it too much of a pain but obviously the sleep function can help you out with this one.

I blame Royal Mail. It was dispatched Tuesday and it still hasn't come. I've had stuff from ShopTo that's come next day.

It won't be down to Royal Mail - Game often send the dispatch emails early. They've confirmed some sort of sorting cock up.

You should have read the dispatch mail as 'Hi! We've been printing the label of your order and depending on whether or not our intern can find the game in the warehouse, put it in the box and stick the correct label on top, you might receive it in timely fashion. Or maybe not. Who knows? Kind regards, your incompetent cunt friends at {GameStore}'.

It's not just game who send out dispatch emails early. ShopTo definitely do as well. I got one for Okamiden, then saw my old address on it, presumably as I had recently updated my card details and it reset to my then billing address. Bollocks, I thought, but I hopped online quickly to fix the address whilst I thought of it.

Next day, Okamiden turned up on my current doorstep rather than going to the old address :)

The camera in this is mind blowingly good. Just being able to look around you reminds me that we should have those effing VR helmets by now that were around in the mid 90s.

Not sure it's that useful on the commute, mind... Going to look slightly mental spinning about 180 to look behind me.
