Eurogamer:

Assassin's Creed: Revelations on PlayStation 3 includes a copy of the original Assassin's Creed, Ubisoft has announced.

The stealth 'em-up series' opening chapter is included on Revelations' Blu-ray disc - there's no need to download.

Ubisoft has stated the offer applies to "day one copies" of the game, suggesting gamers will only have a limited stab at the deal.

Released in 2007, Assassin's Creed features the initial slice of protagonist Desmond Miles' history-spanning story, and introduces original hero Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad.

What??!?! No copy for 360 players?! Balls!!

If I wasnt planning on putting so much time into the MP side of Revelations then this would swing it for me. I would love to play through the original again, especially after reading 'The Secret Crusade'. Great news for PS3 only players though!!

I wonder whether they've introduced trophies for flag collecting in AC - something they omitted when they ported the 360 version over to the PS3.

I've just completed AC the other day. Now to sit down and enjoy ACII then Brotherhood before delving into Revelations :)

Btw does anyone know whether the novels based on the videogame series are any cop?

Ive only read the most recent one 'The Secret Crusade' and it turned out to be immense!! It covers the main plot of AC1 and then expands Altair's story following that. It also ties Altair and Ezio's stories together as a set-up for Revelations. Really glad I read it as it has got me even more excited about Revelations than I was already.

Lol - the three 'achievements' on the 360 I'm missing are the ones for slaying all the Templars (I'm about 83% complete) and collecting all of Richard's Flags (of which 15 elude me) in Kingdom. Those two and the ones with regards to all teh dialogues with Lucy which seem to have evaded me :(

The one with Lucy is easy as long you speak to her each time you wake up in the modern world and exhaust every dialogue option before diving into her animus again.

Yea I thought I had although I later read it's easy to miss part of the dialogue near the start which would mean I'd have to speed play through it. I'm guessing it's that which caught me napping.

Not such a bad thing as I like AC myself. Though I've yet to be brainwashed by the much improved installments :)
