At last, a cover-mounted GC demo disk is here:

It's the first time NOM UK has come bundled with a playable demo disc. Readers will receive a three-level playable demo of Sega's Billy Hatcher & the Giant Egg (with single and multiplayer options), an official inflatable Nintendo toy (Bullet Bill, Bowser or Ganondorf); PLUS a free pack of Pokémon STAKS, collectible character magnets.

Fingers crossed this is just the beginning.

Will it work on a Jap/US cube with Freeloader?

What's next Wednesday's lottery numbers?

Haha, smartarse. ;)

I was just wondering if anyone had it yet, maybe someone from the mag or something lurks around here and might know.

mutter...mutter...bloody kids...grrr...

It's going to be so embarrasing bringing this up to the counter... inflatable toy!?

Like you wouldn't be embarrassed to bring it to the counter anyway...

"I'll take this copy of Edge, ah... some of those disc wipes, ooh... how about one of those promotional leaflets on forthcoming games, and (COUGH!) a copy of Nintendo Official Magazine."

Just hide it inside a copy of Men Only.

Bit late isn't it?

Well I got a copy today from Smith's (didn't know anything about the demo disk thing, although I've already played Billy Hatcher)

I bought it for the 'inflatable punchable' and I made sure I got Bullet Bill (the mag's in polythene, but you can clearly see which inflatable is which)

The inflatable is a lot smaller than I thought it would be and I'm having problems blowing it up (for some reason it's got two blow valves)

It's about time that Nintendo and NOM got round to having a regular demo disk like the other official magazines

Blown up my Bullet Bill

I can't understand why it has 2 valves - you blow it up through the smaller valve on the side of the BB (that seems to have only let air in) but there seems to be no way to deflate it even when the larger valve (on the bottom of the BB) is open

Very strange

It's about 9 inches long God, hope that's big enough for you :o
