Five straight league defeats means he has to go sadly. I fear who would come next though. Mark Warburton until end of the season? Scott Parker? Sean Dyche?

I don't have knowledge on good up and coming managers in Europe really. I'm guessing Pochettino or Tuchel wouldn't be interested.

So, DG has passed on.

A little bit callous but if DS takes over his shares, he becomes the major shareholder again and Kretinsky is in no mans land. Not great.

I'm more inclined to think that someone is already lined up a compulsory purchase on his shares LJ, and it's not porno dwarf.

Never too early for that.

Worst possible result for us last night. A point is nothing, still out of the drop zone by virtue of GD and it gives the manager more time to continue to not have a clue. Disastrous.

Rumour has it he was out if we lost last night. Team selection was odd, was but the pattern stayed the same. Played well to begin with and then progressively got worse.

I think it's a combination of fitness, his obsession with putting players out of position and his mean spirited stubbornness.  He could have played Johnson at LB instead of Kehrer (who himself is a RB/RCB) but because Johnson hasn't signed a new contract it's fuck you sonny jim, you're out the team. Same way he treats Benrahma, Fornals has been ostracised despite having played himself out of the Spanish national team by following Moyes' instructions to the letter to the detriment to his career ( I know, let's play a very well regarded and talented Spanish centre mid as a left winger so he can cover for the LB who was over the hill years ago and who couldn't defend a bag of crisps).

Sullivan is making the biggest gamble of his life in not sacking Moyes. His golden goose could be well and truly cooked if we go down (which we will if Moyes is the manager till the end of hte season) as all that lovely money he'll get from the clubs sale will vanish.

Agree with everything above. The other thing is not playing all these young fellas who then just up and leave. Perkins, Ashby (this is a crying shame), Muamba (to come) , etc, etc.

I went to the Fulham friendly before the restart and when Muamba and Swer came on the whole team lifted. At least (after 18 months), he has swapped Dec and Soucek back.

I don't think it's a positive that Soucek is back in midfield. I completely understand he is a 'give it all' type of player but he's not scoring like he used to (hasn't for well over a year) and he can't pass for toffee so why isn't Downes playing instead? Downes is quicker, younger and a significantly better passer of the ball. It's just another nail in Moyes coffin IMO - he just can't not play his favourites despite how badly they're playing or damaging the team.

Look at Weds. Ooh, we're winning, not playing badly and we're trying to vary our attack and actually using the middle of the pitch. Can't have that. Take off Scammacca, switch back to hoofing it down the wings to cross into no one and then get surprised when you lose the lead 2 mins later.

Did you see that stats that we've had (by a fucking huge margin) the most crosses into the box in the Prem this season. Nearly 300 I think but haven't scored a single goal. It's utterly maddening and we just keep playing the same way, every week..

Not sure what the board are waiting for, perhaps relegation as that’s what will happen unless change is made now. More strange team selections from Moyes, had enough of it now. Fornals at LWB with Emerson on the bench. 5 at the back again.

Moyes is so negative and so predictable. WTF is he seeing in some of these players that every West Ham fan can see differently. The likes of Soucek, Cresswell, Anotonio to name but a few should be nowhere near this starting eleven but Moyes loves his favourites regardless of how crap they have become.

Mikey is unfortunately gassed at this level. He seems to have bulked up again so his pace has gone, but he still falls over too easily and if he does muscle a defender out the way, he'll get fouled and nothing given because refs see a Hulk like character and think he's feigning (tbf he does half the time). I won't hear any criticism of Fornals at LWB because he's playing in an entirely foreign position to cover Cresswell because Moyes is too stupid and stubborn to play someone else. Cressy has been deadweight for about 3 seasons now (not to mention costing us the Europa Cup) but Moyes just keeps playing him; much the same as Soucek.

The only plausible reasons we still have Moyes is a negligent board (we know that to be true) and Sullivan being such a wheeler-dealer he's prepared to sacrifice hundreds of millions from the value of the club if we're relegated (which we will be, guaranteed if Moyes is still the manager) for the sake of spending a few million now in sacking Moyes, hiring a new manager and giving him a few quid to spend. There literally cannot be any other reason to stick with a manager that has played the same way week in week out; 400 crossed in the league this season but haven't scored from a single one and he does it every. single. week. Madness.

Just had enough now. We need a minimum of 7 wins out of 15 - no chance with the negative defensive ‘hopefully we nick a goal’ with 2 attacking players dinosaur.  The board have to take responsibility too for not making the change a few months back. We are in serious trouble yet no one associated with the club seems to have the guts to come out and admit it and talk reality, it’s all happy faces training videos and silly challenges on YouTube each week plus messages like ‘we have turned a corner, we have momentum’. Are you serious? We deserve to go down, utter shambles of a Manager. You look at the line up and any energy and excitement you may have prior to the game as a supporter is completely drained in a moments notice.  Todays best part - losing 1-0 and who makes the first sub? Not us lol. Please get rid of him now.

Never known a Manager to be so clueless and stubborn with in game management. Never a pro active early sub and clearly instructs the team to sit back and defend a lead. Antonio had a stinker, should have been hauled off 60 mins mark. Johnson second half was being roasted down the flanks. Aguerd sadly had his worst game for us. At 1-0 we looked comfortable and if Antonio had squared his chance, different game. So annoying. Moyes out.

It’s beyond a joke now. Any other club in the world would have sacked him by now.

His interviews are embarrassing and all he ever does is refer to the fact we have had a good couple of years. That’s in the past, get in the now and recognise we are shite. His man management of Scammaca is awful, Haller all over again. Ben Johnson I have never rated and today he showed why he should not be anywhere near the Premier League. Utterly hopeless he was today.

‘Dust ourselves down and go again next week’. Piss off.

Totally agree @djbhammerexcept for one thing: Johnson was left high and dry today by Bowen. Bowen has been shit for months now and never gets criticised, never gets subbed. Fornals helped out Johnson on Weds and he (Johnson) only was exposed after Pablo went off.

Moyes is a self fulfilling prophecy in that he is overly defensive so never attacks and loses, and because he loses, he goes ultra defensive (like today) and we end up..losing. Rinse and repeat. Sick of it and him.

85 mins gone, Villa there for the taking. Takes off a striker for a winger. Leaves Italy’s No 9 sitting on the bench again because his ‘physical data ‘ is not where it needs to be. FO Moyes, you were simply happy to take the point you negative clueless clown. We are so going down yet the board don’t seem to see it. The Manager certainly has no idea we are in a relegation scrap from his own antics. Oh well, looking forward to the usual ‘back to work’ training videos comedy show.

Scamacca is another Haller. Bought on form albeit in a different formation. Turns out they don't suit Moyes's formation (shocker). Moyes turns on them. They want out.

I assume Cornet was brought on as another "I can turn a winger into a striker" project by Moyes. Fucking joke.

How the hell is Moyes allowed to do this, And physical data? What a load of bollocks. His excuses are getting more obscure every week. Just do us all a favour and leave.

He makes me laugh. He said it was wrong of the fans to boo the players after the final whistle. Err, Dave, it wasn't the players the fans were booing..

Physical data? If he had access to that he'd see how unfit we are, how we have the fewest sprits and running in the league and how Soucek lumbers around the pitch doing, well, something? (13 completed passes against Villa I believe).

We're fucked and we're going to be doubly fucked next season in the Championship as it's not the cloggers league it was when we were down there last time. I can see us doing a Sheff Weds or Sunderland.
