just got a snes, what games do i get?

hi, i was in town today when i walked past gamesstations window, and in the window was a snes with 16 games and 2 pads for £40 so i walked in a brought it without thinking what the games were, did i want it and was it a good price , so anyway could you tell me some good games to buy and where to get brand new controllers from.

For new controllers try Lik-Sang (they sell them don't they?), maybe Videogame imports?

Indeed, but go for classics like the Donkey Kong series, Mario Games, Metriod, Zelda etc.

Also I quite liked James Pond and Busy

thanks for the reply people, i did own a snes when they first came out but i was only 5 or 6 so can't really remember the games for it. but i do remember mario, donkey kong ect.

and i'll list all the games i've got with it later tonight.

Yes, its hard to the point of evilness, but still seems even more difficult on the GBA.

I got a snes in the summer and am slowly building up a nice unbxed game collection (much cheaper and easier than boxed)

Dont listen to them Super Ghouls n ghosts is a damn good game.

And when you get to the end you get sent back to do it all again, only harder in order to get the end sequence!

The main problem Im finding with Snes stuff is the lack of a save facility. I just don't have 2-3 hours to sit and complete a game like i used to.

For someone pretty much new to Ghouls 'n' Ghosts games (yeah, me), which should I start with?

Have a crack at Ghosts 'n' Goblins first. I reckon it's even tougher than Ghouls. MAME is the best bet of course, but failing that the MD version of Ghouls is pretty much spot-on.
