I've had more StreetPasses since Animal Crossing came out too, mostly people who have Animal Crossing. I like snooping around their houses.

Also, for people stressing about getting fake works of art from Redd but would rather do the detective work themselves rather than resort to a guide; page 17 of the game's electronic manual lists the in-game artwork including its name in game as well as its real-world name and artist. Now you can just play a wee game of spot the difference with them!

There's also a wee part in the manual where parents are advised that Mr Resetti's tone can be authoritative and potentially upsetting to young children. Aw.

Awww....how did you find out about this? I'd love to have gone along and finally got some street passes. I go into the city centre a lot and have only ever had 3 street passes since I bought my 3DS near launch :(

I found out in the first instance by going to Kyoto Lounge for a Cooler Master Storm event when they launched a new keyboard. Got a free CM Storm mouse just for being there, and so I started following the bar on Twitter and liked them on Facebook. This led to me seeing ads for a Monster Hunter event, which I also attended, and at the time I thought that was as good as it was going to get. I was wrong!

The group itself is on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/401007576627768/'>here, and Twitter https://twitter.com/StreetPassManc'>here, and since you are in Manchester you might also be interested in the much more recently formed Liverpool group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/551814784869214/'>Facebook and https://twitter.com/StreetPassLpool'>Twitter. Liverpool don't currently have any events planned, but Manchester are doing a big one in August, https://www.facebook.com/events/176822772499064/'>The Big Luigi, for which I bit the bullet and ordered a Luigi costume yesterday! There are actually a whole bunch of these communities popping up, and Nintendo are supporting them with things like eShop vouchers for prizes, free food/drinks vouchers at the events, and even publicity on their official social feeds. The next event anywhere in the country is this Sunday in https://www.facebook.com/events/528748620509861/'>Edinburgh. If you get the chance, GO! They are so much more fun than you would have imagined.

Ah, now that makes a difference! Good job finding that! Not knowing what the piece of art was was the annoying part for me.

Speak to the badge bloke again, I thought he'd only give me one badge a visit but I got two out of him as I accidentally talked to him again while I was attempting to fish.

That AC event sounds like quite a novelty CheekyLee, typical nothing in London, might follow them anyway, see if they branch out. I do get quite a lot on my commute though and it's surprising how many people are playing AC, way more than any other game I've seen. I wonder what the sales have been.
