I think I've already got johnnyalpha on my list but I'm going to refrain from adding your daughter just in case I get a (very possible) urge to get over to the Mabel girls and make a cock pattern, plant loads of flowers so they make a cock, have a cock star constellation and make all my inhabitants have puerile and incredibly childish catchphrases.

You know what kind of foods are shaped like dicks? The best kinds!

Decided to buy 2 club nintendo codes from ebay for £8 each and claimed AC as my free download. As good as Luigi and DK look, I really couldnt see myself playing through them, i've become a bit fussy in my game choices lately! Lego undercover was tempting for my 4 y/o boy, but would probably be a bit tricky for him.

Hope I get the code early on the 14th, going to be a special day with The Last Of Us out on the same day!

That's another awesome promo. Suchu: pop me a pm, you are welcome to my code when I get it, I registered MH a while ago. :)

So to get that free Monster Hunter 3DS, the recipient needs to register a new 3DS or 3DS XL between the dates specified? What if they already have a 3DS registered? My understanding is that this is for new 3DS owners only :(

Was just looking on the GAME website and it says we can download from midnight on release day :) £5 less than the eShop price. No option to preorder the download version, though I guess if GAME mess it up we still have the regular eShop download to use.

Wow thanks!

wow again!

This sounds great - "a dream world that allows players to run amok in a facsimile of your village without any harmful effects to the real thing."

You'll need to share, as per tradition, I'm afraid. I don't mind, personally - I've been sharing my copy with my wife and son and we collectively decide on ordinances and public works. Though my wife has been hinting that she wants her own copy so she can have a village all to herself.

@Rudderless, Can you prevent certain villagers from leaving? Other than regularly talking to/showing them with gifts?

Since I started I've had four villagers say they were thinking of leaving. One of them I let go out of sheer spite for them beating me in the first fishing tourney, two others I just said 'don't go' when they said they were leaving and they stayed, and the final one I wanted rid of, but when I told them to pack their bags they changed their minds and said we should work on our friendship!

Fair enough. A bit sneaky on Nintendo's part but we've enjoyed sharing the village on DS. Having one Mayor is a bit different though.

Presumably you can't even buy extra copies if you go digital. Buy extra consoles instead!

Considering there is a save file transfer tool, then may it actually be possible to have a digital town alongside one stored on a cartridge in the same console?

Haha! :) Sounds like it's the same old routine then.. bah that's dissappointing. I'd really have liked to option to at least make best friends with one character I liked. Guaranteeing they don't leave after I forget to play the game for a few days.
