Im open too - Dave - Feel free to drop by if you like. I left a batch of stuff for you outside the station - feel free to have it. The perfect cherries won't grow as perfect cherries in your town unless cherries are your local fruit so probably worth selling them to make money early on. The regular fruit will grow as normal. Enjoy.

Coming now. :)

Mr Do did the same for me, but for some reason there was a comms error and I got booted. :( I don't think Leonardo will be coming to my town now.

Just noticed you dropped by. Hope that all helps in your first few days! Have fun :) .

My connections back btw. I can open up if you like. You'll have to excuse the disarray as I haven't been in town for months!

Added you on my 3DS, the code is: 3566-1689-8295

Here's my other town on my 2DS: 1220-7350-6330

Whoops, selected the wrong thing there. TOWN OPEN again

At least it saved ;)

Yeah, I got booted - but that time it saved at my end too with me keeping what I'd picked up. I'm guessing Leo will be along in the next day or two. :)

Indeed. He's picked a nice spot to settle down in as well.

I couldn't have arranged my village any better even if I'd been in full control. Very happy with the layout so far.

When the time eventually comes that I want to shift some villagers out to replace with new ones, how do I go about that without coming across as a total prick (which is easy)? Is there any alternative? Call me a weirdo but I'm very particular about stuff like this.

I don't think there is any way of getting rid of them, you just have to wait for them to talk to you about leaving.

I don't like to let a villager leave until they've given me their picture.

On April Fools Day, Blanca turns up and plays a little game with all the animals. This is a great chance to get all your animal's pictures in one day ;)

Looking to retire to Animal Island after a two year term as the mayor of Cojiro, but this game still manages to (mildly) hold my interest; a new rhino villager recently moved in, who obviously fell victim to some ivory poachers and had to replace her horn with an ice cream cone.

I've not been on in over a week. What should I do? Roll the clock back and then retro-fit each day up until present, or is it no big deal?

Never roll the clock back or forward. The only thing that would or could've happened is, one of your villagers might've moved out. Plus you might have a few weeds to deal with.

What impresses me most about this game, is that the villagers still have new stuff to say when I speak to them.

The thing I hate is that I'm still obsessed with not letting anyone move out. So I leave it switched on 24/7 to remind me to speak to them everyday. I need help.

Is anyone still playing this? Fired it up over the Christmas holidays. It's still wonderful.

Desperately short of bells.

I'm a billionaire! If you would like a million bells let me know, and you can pop over to collect them.

Up until this evening this was my play time for Animal Crossing. I've been playing it since release and have put hundreds of hours into it. Many memories, visits to other people's towns and stuff. When I was away from home for a year I played it over the Internet with my wife. Tonight my daughter, who has a character in the game deleted our town. Everything is gone. Wish I'd backed up the save game before I let her play.

Thinking of starting again. Does anyone have any spare stuff they wouldn't mind donating?

What kind of stuff? I can order whatever you need. Or you can visit, and get stuff from the shop.
