I've never had much of a problem with villagers leaving, any that wanted to leave whilst I was playing I've always convinced not too, and when I came back after a year away all my villagers were still there.

God they need to hurry up and make a AC for the Switch that I can't sink my entire life into for a couple of years

We bought this for my daughter for Christmas. Is it possible for two people to live in the same town? We have two consoles but only one game card.

Two people can share the same town, but only play one at a time. It's much better if they had a town each, then they can visit each other and help each other out.

I hate having my own town in Animal Crossing. It's such a lonely experience compared to sharing with another player. I'm just catching fish nobody will ever see for a museum that nobody will ever visit. I much prefer the fun of sharing the space with another person, working together on the town, being surprised by what they do when I'm away and gossiping about the other villagers over dinner.

Bugger that, I used to hate inviting people over. Get the town looking like I want I for months on end then some little scrote comes in and runs all over your flowers

That is the worst (I'm usually the scrote tbh), but if you're both legit full residents of the same town you can at least put passive-aggressive messages on the town notice board, or a 'Save the Flowers' design in the shop for them to see and feel bad about. Or leave pitfalls outside their houses.

So I noticed I had some My Nintendo points that would reduce this to 12.79 on the eShop, going to grab it on payday thursday. Not played an Animal Crossing game since the Gamecube one, but I loved that.

I presume I don't have to worry about the Amiibo cards, there should be a ton of content without them? Looking forward to getting back into some AC action after such a long break!

Don't have to worry about the amiibo at all indeed, they're nice fluff nonetheless if you ever want the amiibo but that's about it. You are in for a treat, it's changed a lot for the better since GC, without losing what makes it AC unlike many other franchises I may tend to whine about.

Yeah. The amiibo cards are basically only interesting if you've seen (almost) everything there is to be seen, and you want some rare new furniture. A bit like 101%'ing the game. But you're looking at about 300hrs. til you get to that point

Is there any way to get non town specific fruit without connecting online? Otherwise some fruit would be helpful, as we only have peaches. Can't see a code on my TPC yet, but only started playing yesterday and have spent a morning chasing bloody feathers for Pave as its Festivale. He wants white, I've multiple of every other colour.

Need to see that money grabbing Nook as well to sort out my house
