Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

It appears you've found a glitch in the system.

have they closed the hole?

[edit]

and trying it again, it's just hanging

Still working fine here Rafa. Definitely the email address linked to your account?

Yeah it's down to the account type you have.

I have a normal xbox live account. Works fine for me.

My eldest has a kids account. He also gets the 1 month for £1. I can add a credit card to his account so that's cool but no paypal setup option.

My youngest also has a kids account but he doesn't get the offer at all. :)

Lesson to be learnt here is to just not bother telling MS the kids real dates of birth. :) There I was trying to be all responsible and all.

Yeah it's stopped for me n all. When I go to 'accounts' on Xbox.com to see how long I got it until, it's currently saying "status unavailable", which is a bit worrying. Hope they don't start doing mass refunds...

I saw this was posted on HotUKDeals so it must be getting hammered; the MS guy was all 'due to a technicality... that shouldn't have happened... but you've got it now so fairplay to you.... etc. He was laughing when he counted up 17 £1 for one month deals.

What MS guy? did you call to cancel the auto subscription? or did they contact you?

5 months for a fiver is good :)

juuust got in there as well, because I think they have just K.O'd the thing.

Good stuff matey!

Just got this though: "Uh Oh, you found a glitch in the system" - Any ideas on a workaround?

Not to put a dampener on things but could this not being another hack?

I kept getting that error when I pressed "Done" after the transaction was finished. Didn;t stop it working. Just close the tab and do it again.

It's not a hack, the same "deal" happened a little while back.
