no its fine, just close the tab and re-click the link and it will take you though the process again.

managed to get to to may 2013 (from jan 2013 mind)

I've managed to add 6 months until it now says "This action cannot be performed at this time. Please try again later. For more information, go to http://www.xbox.com/support" when I try and get a 7th.

Edit: After 4 browser relaunches it now lets me again!

Yeah it's down to the account type you have.

I have a normal xbox live account. Works fine for me.

My eldest has a kids account. He also gets the 1 month for £1. I can add a credit card to his account so that's cool but no paypal setup option.

My youngest also has a kids account but he doesn't get the offer at all.

Lesson to be learnt here is to just not bother telling MS the kids real dates of birth. There I was trying to be all responsible and all.

Yeah it's stopped for me n all. When I go to 'accounts' on Xbox.com to see how long I got it until, it's currently saying "status unavailable", which is a bit worrying. Hope they don't start doing mass refunds...

I got up until the end of 2012 before it stopped for me. I've read a few other people have got to that point too. Maybe that is the cut off? Unless you were lucky enough to keep going past that date when the deal first started.

What MS guy? did you call to cancel the auto subscription? or did they contact you?

yeah or I believe you can call them and ask them to cancel the auto renewal.

You just need to get another subscription before it expires. You can add them on whenever you want and it will move the date for auto renewal with it (I think to max of 3 years).

This was posted in the "Bargains" section this morning, glad somemore people are benefiting from it, I only got 4 months this time, really don't think I can justify having a Live sub that runs into 2014, lol.

I kept getting that error when I pressed "Done" after the transaction was finished. Didn;t stop it working. Just close the tab and do it again.

It's not a hack, the same "deal" happened a little while back.

Don't think its a hack, I am pretty sure they have done this promotion before and this loop hole happened then as well.
