Mr Delabee
Just downloaded new store, UK. This is going to take some time to get used to.
Super Craig
I can't browse the new store with my TV remote like I could the old one. Really fucking annoying.
Captain Kelsten
The new store really is dreadful, isn't it?
Uncle Mike
I think so. Although I'm not sure how much of that is familiarity with what was a terrible Store before.
Dude Ranch
I liked the PS+ content being blatantly shown as it's own category before, have they removed that or am I missing something? I hate it, BTW.
SharkEnergy
I actually liked the old store :-(

JPR
It's also the section that someone thought it was a good idea to put a big PSN+ banner on the top. Which means you can only fit two rows of games on the screen, unlike other sections which have the screen full of games. I quite like the look of it but it's things like the above which make no sense, looks nicer but you have less useful things on screen.
petrolgirls
I don't mind it, the browsing seems relatively sane to me - at least compared to the 360's increasingly bizarre ad-strewn clusterfuck. The pricing though; £50 for FIFA? £60 for NSFMW? 'Pon my word.
Captain Kelsten
The old store wasn't particularly nice to look at, but at least it was practical and easy to navigate. This is just some bizarre mess of a thing.
Paulando
I quite like it! The PS+ page is nice, collecting all the 'free' games together and the other offers on another page. The old store was fucking horrible.
Yasawas
It's better than the old one which was fucking dreadful with items in multiple locations, and some grouped together purely for the hell of it. To be honest I don't think any of the big three have got the hang of laying out an online storefront but PSN is probably still the least awful. Paulando
What annoyed me most about the old store was that some games were listed to buy with a price, others had a folder with multiple items that you had to go in to to see how much it was, and then there was just random DLC all over the place. Soulstar
Yes that was fucking annoying Paulando, now that you mention it I hated that.
SweatyTravolta
It's also the section that someone thought it was a good idea to put a big PSN+ banner on the top. Which means you can only fit two rows of games on the screen, unlike other sections which have the screen full of games. That's the only thing that annoys me, everything else is really nice looking and it seems easier to find things. I really wish it would keep the smaller icons on the screen though, that PS+ section is such a joke when you're trying to scroll through the games.

gossi the dog
Easy access PS2 and PS3 disc swap from song carousel What is this?
Captain Kelsten
Caveat: if you want to play the songs on your discs, you still have to put the disc in, but you can swap between them quickly using the carousel rather than having to quit out. So yeah, no discs required for your dlc songs, but discs still required for all your disc based songs. So the news isn't that great, really. Garwoofoo
The PS2 bit though. Is this only if you have a backward compatible PS3? I'd assume so. No, Singstar's worked with old PS2 discs on any PS3 for ages. It just reads the data off them once you're in the game itself.

Garwoofoo
Yes you can. Or any other USB mic, or a wireless headset, or even the mic in the PS Eye camera!
Looper
That Singstar is 'free' and pay for whatever songs you want is a great idea, and when you think about it, one they should have done from day one. I still have my old PS2 mikes somewhere I'm sure.
