Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron

I got it for £20 from amazon about 2 weeks ago. In fact it;s £17 there now.

Playing the MP last night, I love this more than any other shooter MP (perhaps more than BF3), it's just so much fun. And genuinely requires you to be a team. Shame there's literally about 6 people playing it right now.

yeah, I enjoyed the shit out of the multi when I could get a game. Damn shame it's fallen off.

Cyhtxhx or however you spell his name was telling me earlier of how the PC version is fucked in every way compared to console, and I can believe it.

Frame rate seems locked to 30, the visuals are utterly horrible, and it plays like shit. Not even co-op made the thing good - and, yes, played with pad.

Yeah, it's locked to 30 but after years of playing 30fps games I didn't mind. As for how it plays... I can't say I noticed. What's supposed to be wrong with it?

Besides which I paid £5 in the steam sale, which is preferable to the £25>£40 the Xbox version seems to be commanding at the minute <_<

It's hardly shit?! The gameplay really suits the premise of the game, fucking hulking robots running around smashing shit up. I thought it looked pretty good despite the framerate cap (I'm not sensitive to these things though) and have been playing it in 3D, thought it was actually a bizarrely pretty game in places. I'm not quite sure what you would expect to be different gameplay wise?

Dunno if anyone still plays but I've recently dived into the multiplayer again and surprised how weel it holds up, They recently made it so you get double expreience at the end of the game now. They used to do that at weekends but now it's permanently on. Seems to have got people playing it again, been playing most of the weekend and only had trouble finding a match once late at night.

Got all my classes except the Destroyer (truck) up to 25, and that's currently at 19. I also seem to have figured out how to use each class to it's maximum ability, which is something I never do in these games. I got 28 kills out of a 40 kill team death match with the sodding scout class in one match. Also rediscovered the greatness that is the Scientist. Fly in, fire off a few saw blades at a guy, finish up with the assault rifle, then blast off to heal my team mates and maybe have a chase and dogfight with a Pterodactyl.

What other game lets you do that?

This is (surprisingly) pretty good!

I've been searching for TPS/FPS games I haven't played and come across this. Very enjoyable. Simple, yeah, but it's fine.

I swear I don't understand this place. I don't even care about Transformers and this is excellent.

I'll make a big post later but with this game High Moon have put themselves on my radar big time. There's so much care and attention lavished on this.

£8.00 on Xbox Live Gold Deals at the moment. Bought. I just played through it AGAIN on PC recently and I still love this. It one of those few licensed games where you can tell there was love put in to it.

Shame Activision has High Moon doing nothing but COD maps now, would love them to tackle the franchise again.

I picked this up in the sale and am loving it - just enough fan service, great levels and environments - I can see a lot of homage to Halo in certain sections.
