I got it yesterday. It's really not great is it?

It does seem to be an exercise in creating the most visually repulsive car on the planet, but I guess that appeals to a certain crowd.

It really feels like you're just controlling a camera rather than a car, there's no 'weight' to your movements, plus the blurry effect that you get when you turn is nauseating. It looked shit in GTA and it looks shit in this. PGR2 is much better in every respect, as is Burnout 2, if you can live without vinyl stickers on your 'ride'.

The only good thing about it is that it includes 'Kimosabe' by BT*, which reminds me that I should be playing Amplitude instead of this dross.

* Hilariously, the word 'Playstation' has been censored out of the version in NFS:U (anyone know if it's the same on the PS2 version?)

You're a god a was trying to remember what other game featured horrible blur effects and it's GTA but at least you can turn them off on GTA to make it look much prettier.

Also you're a double god for having an avatar from one of the best underrated unknown movies ever.

Erm...you can turn them off. Bluring is not even on by defult on the pc verson.

Of course it's his opinion. Nobody here speaks for any kind of nation or population (as far as I'm aware), so statements should at all times be taken as personal opinion unless backed up with quantitive data, or overwhelming qualitative support.

It shouldn't have to be stated at the end of every post that everything contained above is in fact an opinion, not a truism.

If you can't infer this for yourself, you must have a pretty harsh life, rebelling against more or less everyone and everything, from your neighbours choice of music to the price of coffee from your local Sludgebucks™.

The reason blurring wouldn't be on by default and there is an option is because the defualt isn't too system straining. You gotta turn on the fancy options because some cards might not handle them.

Bluring takes a big performance hit when enabled for me. The game is still perfectly playable its just slower. Dosent look all that good anyway.

I'd prefer to be lodged up my own arse (any distance) than be utterly incapable of inference, leading to hilariously defensive statements. This statement, however, is of course my opinion and may of course differ with your preference in regard to arse-lodgitude. You are perfectly entitled to your own opinion on this subject, even if it doesn't run in concordance with your own.
